So, remember that math group quiz I mentioned yesterday? Well I did get my group a 20/20 on it (...I feel kind of egotistical/conceited/whatever saying that, but... I really did do all the problems, and then they just checked what I did to make sure I didn't make any stupid math errors. I mean, I explained how to get the answers and stuff to them when they didn't get it, I didn't just take the quiz and do it, but yeah), and not only that, but we were the only group to get a perfect score. And actually most people failed it (I think most people were saying they got around a 9-11 on it).

So then, our professor had to go take a conference call for the first half of class because he's on this national math board of something or other and he's the chair and it was supposed to be at 4:30 but the time zones got confused and it ended up being at 3:30, at the start of class. So he was like to me "You go to the board and explain how you got the answers to every problem because you were in the only group who got a perfect score and you've gotten perfect scores on all the other quizzes this semester so far." So I spent the first half hour of class explaining the quiz problems to my class. Which... was weird. I'm shy, ok? And I don't really know anyone in that class. Actually I do kind of know a couple of people now so it wasn't as awkward as it could've been, but it also wasn't like I was just explaining stuff to a bunch of friends, you know? So yeah. I don't know, it just felt awkward. I'm actually really surprised everyone did so poorly. I mean, I had no idea what was going on in class most of the week, but then I did the homework and read the sections in the book and... it was laid out pretty clearly. At least, I thought so. It's not like I studied any, other than doing the homework. But whatever, now I feel better if I cost my group points on the project since I helped them on the quiz. And the professor was like "Well, you all pretty much sucked, so we're going to take an additional quiz this week with all the same questions (except with different numbers), and it'll be a take home quiz, and that means you can drop one more quiz score from this semester, and most of you will probably want to drop this one." So that works out well for me, since I know what I'm doing and I get to both keep this score and presumably do well on the take-home quiz, too.

Anyways. Enough about school for a little bit! I'm actually going to talk about TV for the first time in forever! I watched the season premiere of Chuck yesterday (it's up on Hulu.com even though it doesn't premiere until next week) and oh man I forgot how much I love this show. I think this season is looking even better than last season, though. Minor spoilage )

Also:

Gossip Girl )

How I Met Your Mother )

Heroes )

I still haven't watched Prison Break, but whatever. It's sucking a fair amount this season, not that that should be surprising. I wouldn't watch if it weren't for Michael/Sara.

Ok now I need to study for my German test tomorrow and write a 5 page reaction paper and not forget to go to my German lab at 3 this time (sldkfj I still can't believe I did that). I probably won't have anytime to watch anything tonight since I spent most of this morning catching up on last night's TV. Oh well.
brokenrecord: (Default)
The German listening comprehension exercises are so weird. I was listening to this dialogue, and these two people were discussing what courses they take in school, and the girl asked the guy about his psych professor he's like (no lie) "My psychology professor? She's very intelligent. And nice. And sexy..." and he kind of trails off kind of... dreamy-like? And then it just ends there. It's so weird.

Anyways, today was much better than yesterday. Not for any particular reason, just because it wasn't yesterday anymore. I was really looking forward to Wind Ensemble, for some reason. I was considering not doing it this year for a little bit, but I think I'm glad I'm continuing with it. So that's good. I'm having major issues figuring out when to meet with these two groups for group projects. One of the projects is due Monday and two days ago when we got assigned into groups, I was like "Ok, I'll e-mail you both my schedule and you can e-mail yours and we can figure out what works best." That should have been easy, right? Well, one of the people e-mailed me back that night with his schedule, but he only sent it to me (I think he clicked reply instead of reply all). Then the third person didn't e-mail me her schedule until today (in class today she was like "Oh, sorry, I didn't check my e-mail until today!" It's like... what? But you KNEW that I was going to e-mail you! Why wouldn't you check your e-mail sooner?) and she only sent it to me and the time she wants isn't the same time he wants, so of course I have to e-mail them both and figure this out. And we're trying to meet tomorrow to work on this, and ugh. It's just so complicated. And I'm so bad at planning things, but I'm apparently the only one who has any sense of motivation to get this done. gah. Have I mentioned how much I hate group projects? Because I really, really do.

I started on that top 10 OTP meme that was going around like a month or more ago a few weeks ago. I've only gotten through the honorable honorable (yes, I did mean to put that twice) mentions. I'm hoping posting about it will make me actually finish it. I haven't done a picspam in awhile, and I like doing them. Plus, I need to get more use out of PSP. I hardly ever use it because it means I have to reload into Windows (I have a Mac with Boot Camp, and PSP only works with Windows). But yeah, expect that... eventually.

I haven't been posting about TV at all recently, but I'll try to do that more. Of the new shows so far, I'm watching Privileged, 90210, and Fringe. I haven't seen this week's Fringe yet and I posted about the pilot awhile back, but in terms of the other shows, 90210 is pretty awful but I'm probably going to keep watching because I kind of really like Ethan (I don't know why, I just do!) and whatever, I enjoy shallow teen shows. I have a lot of stuff to watch Tuesdays so when the semester gets busier, if it still pretty much sucks, I'll probably drop it. Oh, and I'm totally loving Privileged. Well, I only have seen the pilot so far (I'm going to watch the second episode in an hour or so), but it's just so cute and fun! I love both the love interests for the main character so far, and I don't know. I just enjoy it. Also, in terms of returning shows, Gossip Girl and Greek totally kick ass this season, Prison Break still kind of sucks, but whatever, there's Sara, and House had an excellent opener, but I can never really get myself excited about it.

When I woke up this morning, I could hear people protesting about the Republican National Convention. I really don't understand that at all. I mean, I'm 100% a Democrat, but it just doesn't make sense. When it was first announced the RNC would be in the Twin Cities, people at my school were like "OMG BUT THE TWIN CITIES ARE SO LIBERAL AND PROGRESSIVE AND EVERYTHING THE RNC DOESN'T STAND FOR MUST PROTEST." But they have to have the convention SOMEWHERE, and most urban areas tend to be more liberal. And it's not like Minnesota as a whole is known as being a super-liberal state (like California for example. Like, holding the convention in San Francisco would be bizarre. Holding it in the Twin Cities is much more reasonable). But whatever. I think the people at my school just like protesting things, even if it makes no sense and does absolutely nothing.

Anyways, all this news about Sarah Palin has me half cracking up and half terrified. I mostly find it hilarious, but then I think about what if McCain actually wins the election... and there's the terrified part. One of the really scary things was reading my friends' friends page and seeing a couple people actually saying that made them more likely to go McCain and they were now really excited to vote for her. Just... what? She is incredibly inexperienced (way moreso than Obama), no foreign policy experience at all (the fact that Alaska is close to Russia is NOT FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE, no matter what the Republicans/FOX News says), she's against abortion even in the case of rape or incest, and, I mean, McCain is 72 and has a history of cancer and it's not out of the realm of possibility (not that I'm hoping for it or anything, just being realistic) that she could have to step up and become president. gah. I really hope it doesn't come to that.

Anyways, enough about politics. Tonight is super-exciting-new-TV night! Two-hour Prison Break premiere (I feel like I should be ashamed for looking forward to it, but whatever. SARA'S BACK!), Gossip Girl premiere, Middleman finale (I really hope this isn't the last episode ever), and I still have last night's Mad Men to watch. I am very excited for it all even though I'll probably only watch Prison Break tonight. The other stuff will have to wait for tomorrow (but since I don't have class until 1:20 tomorrow and it's only an hour long, that should be fine).
brokenrecord: (Default)
lksjdf I got my final grades for this past semester, and somehow I got three As and an A- in Film Analysis. I have no idea how this happened. I mean, I'm thrilled, but really, really surprised. I really can't believe I got an A in Novel. Moreso just because I struggled most with English in high school in terms of grades than any other subject. And apparently my final paper in Film Analysis didn't suck too much, because my grade was a high B+ before that and the final in-class essay.

Anyways, I totally meant to post more this past week, but then... didn't. Tuesday and Friday I did stuff with friends, but I don't really have any excuse for the other days. Saturday and Sunday I may have spent alternating between watching old episodes of Prison Break (I finished up season 3 and then watched a couple from season 1 and then season 2 from Chicago to the finale) and the So You Think You Can Dance marathon that was on MTV. Um. Oops? And now I'm kind of excited for SYTYCD to come back this Thursday which is ridiculous because I never get addicted to reality shows, but... now I kind of am? This might wear off. We'll see. And then today I went to the beach with Emma and went boogie boarding and failed and then went to the pool for a little.

And now I need to start looking for a job. ugh. I don't mind the actual having a job and doing stuff and all, but I really don't want to go through the whole process of getting a job. bah. I don't know how likely it is that I'm going to make much of an effort this week, either, since I might be going to Disneyland with friends on Wednesday or Thursday. It's very likely that I will put it off another week. ugh.
brokenrecord: (Default)
Ok so there's this Prison Break spoiler going around for next season and I really need to post about it. Prison Break )

I watched last night's episodes of Miss Guided, and I'm really enjoying that show so much more than I thought I would. It really sucks that there are only two episodes left. I hope it's picked up for next year, but I'm not very optimistic. I also read that The Return of Jezebel James was canceled which... yeah. Not very surprising. I'm almost surprised Fox aired as much as it did (an entire 3 episodes). Not very disappointed, other than not having Michael Arden on my screen every week anymore. But the rest of the show was just a chore to get through, so whatever. Not a huge loss.

Anyone else want to give me Top 5s? I want to make images to go with them, so I probably won't post them until tomorrow, so if you feel like giving me more top 5s, that would be awesome.
brokenrecord: (Default)
Well, I've been back from California since Sunday night. My flight was delayed an hour and a half, which really sucked because I had planned to get all my homework done when I got back, and having an hour and a half less time made me have to rush through it a lot more. But the weekend was a lot of fun. I visited my high school on Thursday and saw a lot of people and then went to lunch with Soan and Justin and then the Spectrum with Soan. Then Friday I saw Elizabeth: The Golden Age with Soan and Saturday I saw Dan in Real Life with my mom. And I got to see my birds, which was really nice. It was really nice being home, and it went by way too fast. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving.

I've been doing the 100 movies in 2007 thing and I tried doing that last year too and got to 67 by the end of the year, but right now I'm at 87! I didn't think I'd make it to 100, I was doing it more just because I like keeping track of what movies I've seen, but now I think I'm actually going to get to 100!. This is very cool for me, especially since for a long time I barely saw any movies, and just this past year or so I really started trying to watch a lot. So yeah, I'm happy. I have about 8 weeks to get through 13 movies, which is only 1-2 a week, and that's made a lot easier by the fact that I just realized that I can borrow DVDs for free from the library (they don't have a huge selection, but I'm sure there are some that I'll want to see) and I just found out there's a movie theater a few blocks from my dorm which has discounted tickets for students from my school. It's a really small theater, only like 2 screens, but it shows recent movies, and it's easy for me to walk to. So I'm excited about that.

Heh. I totally just realized that this online service thing the psych department uses here to sign people up to participate in studies (which I have to do for credit for Intro to Psych) is called SONA. This should be slightly amusing to anyone who's watched any Prison Break this season.
brokenrecord: (Default)
Ok, so one of the things I did during parents' weekend was go to Barnes and Noble and my parents bought me a lot of books (7, in fact). And I thought those books would last me like a year (well at least a couple months, considering how often I've been reading books recently), especially since I was in the middle of a book I didn't really care much about. But somehow, since Friday, I've finished The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde (which I had about half to go through, and by the way, is decent, but not anything special, in my opinion) and read all of Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay (good, but not better than the show), Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes (absolutely amazing, but also rather depressing), and Ender's Shadow by Orson Scott Card (very good, and I need to read more in this series). The thing is, this was a really bad time for me to get into a mood where all I want to do is read books, seeing as I have a good amount of tests and that midterm paper in these two weeks. I need to spend my free time making flashcards and outlining the paper and finding sources, and instead I'm reading. sigh. I need to stop, but I'm pretty sure I'm just going to end up picking up another book after this.

Oh, and spoilers for last night's episode of Prison Break )

Um, what else? Basically all I've been doing for the past few days has been reading, doing schoolwork, and watching television. I lead a very exciting life.
brokenrecord: (Default)
Ok first, I need to say something about Season 3 of Prison Break. I don't think this is actually spoilery, it's mostly just speculation based on something I think everyone knows. )

Anyways, things are going pretty well here. I've been less social the past week, partially due to me getting The Office Season 3 on DVD, and also partially because I'm very introverted, and too much time around people is very tiring and after awhile gets to be almost painful. Having to be around people all the time and not being able to really hide away is... frustrating and very draining. But I make it a goal to at least be sociable one day of the weekend. Last weekend I went to this techno dance with people which was actually pretty fun and then watched a movie with them. And then spent the rest of the weekend in my room with my DVDs. But I was still social for a day!

Speaking of The Office, I'm ridiculously looking forward to the premiere next week! Of course, it just happens to premiere on the night that I'm going to be camping with my geology class. We're driving around Minnesota and maybe South Dakota and collecting rocks and we'll be leaving that day in the morning and coming back Friday night. It should be fun, but it also means I won't be able to see the premiere until Friday night/Saturday morning, which really, really sucks. But I'm sure I'll manage.

Um, what else? Next week basically all the shows I'm planning to watch this season are premiering. Oh, I haven't done a fall schedule yet! Fall TV Schedule )

I guess now I'll finish my astronomy homework and then watch the premiere of Friday Night Lights that yahoo is streaming.
brokenrecord: (Default)
So I wrote this up like a month ago and was just waiting for the Doctor Who finale to post, but then it came and I totally forgot about it. But anyways, since I did a short review of all the shows I watched last year, I figured I'd do the same for this year. There are spoilers, so if you haven't seen all of a TV show that aired this year then you might not want to read it (the shows under the cut are Battlestar Galactica, The Black Donnellys, Doctor Who, Gilmore Girls, Heroes, House, Lost, My Name is Earl, The O.C., The Office, Prison Break, Studio 60, Supernatural, Torchwood, Ugly Betty, and Veronica Mars). 2006-2007 Television Season )

I totally caught my mom watching a rerun of Ugly Betty last night. I'm so awesome at getting her to watch the TV shows I like.
brokenrecord: (Default)
So we've started Much Ado About Nothing in English and we're watching the movie along with reading it, and Wilson from House (aka Robert Sean Leonard) is in it! That made me happy to discover. Also, I have such a love for Kenneth Branagh now. I mean we saw most of the version of Hamlet that he stars in and he was great in it, but seeing him in this made me really love him. And Emma Thompson is also in it and awesome. This movie is so fun to watch. :D

Prison Break )

Heroes )

Studio 60 )

There was a promo for The Black Donnellys, and ah it looks so good. I'm really looking forward to it. I haven't seen the pilot even though I know it's floating around LJ, but everyone on my flist seems to absolutely love it, and it seems really interesting. I'm planning on watching it when it airs (in March, right?), I just don't want to watch the pilot now in case I absolutely love it because then I'll be going crazy waiting for it to premiere. But I am looking forward to it.
brokenrecord: (Default)
ugh. I'm sick. I hate being sick. I guess I should just be thankful I didn't get sick the day before finals like I did last year.

I spent Saturday and Sunday watching The West Wing Season 1 DVDs that Jackie and Andrew gave me. The West Wing )

I'm buying season 2 on iTunes since I have that $150 gift certificate from my dad for iTunes and it's cheaper and faster than Amazon. Now I just need to figure out what to do about the other 5 seasons.

Prison Break, Heroes, and Studio 60 on tonight! I love Monday night TV. I really loved last week's episode of Heroes (I'm so glad I decided to stick with this show, because it got so much better after the first episode, and it just keeps improving), and last week's Prison Break, so I'm especially looking forward to those. Studio 60... eh. I absolutely hate the way they characterized Danny last week (way to make something totally sweet and adorable get incredibly creepy and stalkerish within like 5 minutes). But I love Matt and Jack and Wilson White and Tom and Lucy so I'm still looking forward to the show.
brokenrecord: (Default)
Prison Break )

Heroes )

Skipping Studio 60 tonight just because I felt like it. Well, and I prefer watching it when I can fastforward through the commercials, and I wanted to have some time before going to bed to start researching Tufts since I have an interview with an alum from Tufts on Wednesday.

Speaking of interviews, I had my first interview with an admissions officer from Goucher yesterday up in Universal City. I think it went pretty well. I mean, it's like... I don't think it'll hurt me at all, but I don't think it'll tip me over the edge, either. I don't think it'll really have any impact on whether I get in or not, basically. Which is fine, I don't think I really needed it to, my stats are good enough for Goucher, and I mainly wanted to use it as a practice before my interview with Tufts. The admissions officer was very friendly and very talkative, and she made me a lot more interested in Goucher than I was before.

But yeah, anyways, the interview went well. The only suck part was that I wore the most uncomfortable shoes known to man, and within like 5 minutes of walking, I had blisters like... where the achille's heel, or whatever it's called, is, and on my pinky toes, and my feet still hurt. blah.

One more full day of school left, then minimum day on Wednesday, and then 4-day weekend! Ah, I can't wait. I really need a break.
brokenrecord: (Default)
Torchwood )

Prison Break )

Nothing to say about Heroes, but I'm still really enjoying it. (I love Hiro! I doubt I'd love the show as much if it weren't for him.) Skipping Studio 60 tonight because I wanted to post this and I have a physics test, chem quiz, and French quiz to study for, and I've studied for them all some but I feel like I should study more (especially for physics). I'll watch it by Thursday, since Friday there's no school so I'll have plenty of time Thursday afternoon.

Ah but before studying for physics, I totally had this awesome dream last night. I was in like... Chicago, I think? (no idea why, never been there before and don't have a great desire to visit) and I think I was trying to see Wicked with someone? Someone was with me, but I don't remember who. Anyways for some reason I went into this stairwell at the place where I was trying to see Wicked and I was talking to my friend and all of a sudden there was John Krasinski! And he was chatting with BJ Novak and someone else for some reason there and I totally freaked out and when BJ Novak and the other person went away, I went up to him and started talking to him about how awesome The Office was and how much the last episode was hilarious and I talked to him for awhile and I got the impression that he thought I was kind of an idiot and looked down on me, but I totally didn't care because it was John Krasinksi.

Yeah. I was really sad to wake up from that.

Anyways. Time for more physics!
brokenrecord: (Default)
I'm totally in love with Studio 60. I don't erally have any comments on the episode, I just totally love it. I thought I loved the pilot, but in comparison, I'm not as fond of the pilot. I really like the show now that everything's set up and they're moving forward.

Prison Break was good as always. Vanished I think was worse than it has been this week for some reason. Oh well. I was also doing homework at the same time as I was watching it, so I might've missed stuff.

Gilmore Girls tonight. Half of me is excited and half of me is... well, not, because I'm still bitter about season 6 and the finale. I know there's a new show-runner this year, the Palladinos have left, but still. I don't want to be too hopeful.

Um, anything else? I like that even though I have all this school crap and college crap to be doing, all I can think about is new episodes of my favorite TV shows and when different stuff is premiering. New seasons should not start in the fall.
brokenrecord: (Default)
So, I got The Office Season 2 and Arrested Development Season 3 today from Amazon.com. I've finished all my homework except finding a passage in The Scarlet Letter that reflects the Romantic movement but that isn't going to take 4 hours. So, the question is, do I leave my DVDs until the weekend, or do I start them tonight? I'm pretty sure I don't have the willpower to wait until the weekend, but I won't get very far in them tonight, and I doubt I'll have much time tomorrow to do anything because I have a calc quiz Friday and an English essay and I'm sure a million other things that will be assigned tomorrow. Ah, but I want to start them so badly! But I also don't want to start a few episodes and then have to wait two days to continue them. sigh. Decisions, decisions.

Uh, other than that, nothing much has been going on (other than lots of homework and lots of marching band) which is why I haven't been posting. I'm liking all my classes except French, which is to be expected, and even that's not as bad as I thought it would be. I'm especially liking English (even though thinking about all those essays we have yet to write freaks me out).

I've been watching Prison Break, Vanished, and House, but I haven't been posting about them because I haven't had much to say. I'm really, really loving Prison Break this season, probably more than last season. House is still good, but I'm just incapable of really getting invested in it. I do enjoy it, though. Vanished still isn't great, but I think Gale Harold has started to get more comfortable in his role by these episodes, and the episodes are improving. Heroes doesn't start for a few more weeks, so I'll at least keep watching until then. I'm still convinced it'll be cancelled soon, but then again, I have no idea what the ratings are, so it could be doing wonderfully.

I'm tired. Is first semester over yet? I can't wait until second semester.
brokenrecord: (Default)
Happy birthday to Jackie today! I will get you something at some point probably before your next birthday. :)

So, Gavin proved God exists in Chemistry today. It was pretty good. We're doing a unit on liquids and solids and we were discussing why ice floats in water (because of the lower density, but more specifically we were discussing the intermolecular forces and such) and he was all "So that's not common, right? Most solids would sink in their liquid form" and Mrs. Bunch was all "Right" and he was all "So that means that God does exist!" And so then the rest of the class just stared at him. I like also how he just came up with that and offered no explanation at all, as if that should just be self-explanatory and we should've all come to the same conclusion. It was rather amusing.

blah. My mom got pretty suck last week for a few days, and now she's gotten me sick. I feel all tired and weak and I was feeling queasy earlier and I keep feeling like I have to cough. It's very irritating. At least tomorrow and Wednesday we don't start school until 10:20 because all the sophomores have to take their California High School Exit Exams in the morning.

Prison Break tonight! Excellent. It's been way too long.
brokenrecord: (Default)
Man, I'm so exhausted. I always look forward to the Band and Orchestra festival, forgetting how freaking exhausting it was.

The highlight of festival was seeing Annie. The rest was pretty sucky. At least it's over now. (Of course a year from now you can be sure I'll be posting "OMG FESTIVAL'S COMING UP I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!")

I watched the premiere of Doctor Who Friday night on the sci-fi channel, and wheee. When does season 2 start? I haven't seen season 1 since it first aired, last year, and I was starting to forget how much I love it. I can't wait until it gets through airing the entire season; I really want to see the season finale again. So freaking good. I also told my mom to watch it (she's seen a few episodes from old seasons but never really got into it. But she's a science fiction and fantasy writer so it's totally up her alley) and she told me she liked the first episode, but she wasn't sure if it was something she'd ever really get into. But she wasn't able to see the second episode because she had to go pick up my dad from somewhere, and I told her that it only gets better and better. So hopefully she'll keep watching and like it even more.

So much work to catch up on, but I think I'll do it while watching the Prison Break marathon on FX.

Prison Break )

I miss Arrested Development. But it comes back next Monday, right? Won't be able to see it until Tuesday because of the concert Monday, but still. It's coming back! Yay!

One of these days I should try studying for Euro. Today, however, is not going to be the day.

SAT scores this morning! I got a 690 reading, which is 10 points higher than the highest score I got on the practice tests this summer, and I got a 690 writing, which is around the lowest writing scores I've gotten. The essay got an 8, so yeah, not as good as it could've been. But the math! I got an 800! How freaking insane is that?! So, overall, 2180! 70 points higher than my highest practice test this summer! Awesome. I'm so happy about that. Now I don't have to worry as much about retaking it. I'm satisfied with my score, but I may retake it just to see if I can boost up the writing, because I know I can do a lot better on it than I did. So yeah, anyways, there's a load off my mind.

Also got those essays on Canterbury Tales we wrote back on the day Veronica Mars premiered back. I got a 42.5/50, which is an 85! I'm so happy about that, you have no idea. And if that wasn't good enough, she sclaed the essays out of 45, so now my score is a 94, and that's enough to bring my grade up 6 percent to a 85! I'm so happy. :D I know my grade won't stay that high up, but at least it helps for now.

Nintendo Fusion Tour next Monday! I'm so excited. It should be awesome.

I think Prison Break is returning tonight? I thought it was next week, along with Arrested Development, but I saw a promo last night when I was watching a little bit of the Prison Break marathon that was on FX (like, 10 min of it, maybe), and it said it was coming back tonight. I should probably check on that.

What with the hating of Andrew Truong in my post earlier today, I forgot to also mention why I hate the attendance office at school. See, to leave early from class, you first need to get a note from your parent stating why and when you need to leave. Then you take it to the office before school/during snack/during lunch before you leave, they take the note and give you a pass, and you show that pass to your teacher to get out of class. Well, even though this is the 3rd year of me having to do this for orthodontist appointments at my school, my mom still doesn't know how to write a proper note. She addressed it to Mrs. Moore, my English teacher, and then wrote "10 minutes early from class" rather than 12:50 PM. So, this was the result:

Why I hate the attendance office )

Anyways. Onto TV.

Reunion )

Arrested Development )

Prison Break )

How I Met Your Mother I watched but have nothing to say about. Kitchen Confidential I didn't feel like watching, so I'm leaving it till tomorrow or Wednesday. I don't think I'm going to keep watching it, though, because I really don't care what happens and it doesn't seem to have much of a... plot, I guess.

Heh. I found out that my mom's started watching The Daily Show. Next things to convert her to: Veronica Mars and Serenity/Firefly.
