Picspam! I've been taking random pictures the past few weeks and need to get them off my camera so I can delete them finally. Bunch of different stuff: beach party, football game, my birds, and bobcats. The bobcat pictures are the most adorable things ever. The mother had another litter late, late into the summer, so now she has two little kittens with her, and guh. So fucking adorable.

Annie! And Joe behind her. But, Annie! (at the beach party, if you couldn't tell, what with all the sky and sand and such.)

Galaxy, attempting to prevent me from taking a picture of her. But I prevailed! Ha!

Justin! And Alex walking to the right, behind him.

Andrew. There are also a bunch of people in the background, but I resized the picture and can no longer tell who they are.

Andrew attacking Annie!

Mr. Austerman, Deena, and Ziyad before being buried.

Mr. Austerman, Deena, and Ziyand after being buried. Zi's expression cracks me up, especially because it was after the sun went down so everything was practically pitch black and I was kind of just blindly taking pictures and hoping they'd turn out ok, and... yeah.

Me and Jackie on the way to the football game.

Tenor saxes sit at the very top of the stands with the sousaphones and bari sax, so this is a look down at all the rows in front of us. Except you can't really see much of anything. Oh well. But, um, look! The football field! Exciting! (Except I hate the field at Irvine Stadium. It's like astroturf, and it's a bitch to march on.)

Justin, Andrew, and Emma, who were sitting to the right of me.

Andrew. Heh. This is what happens when you take pictures at night without the flash on! I thought it looked cool anyways, though.

Derek, cuddled up to me (my legs are under the blanket next to him, which you can't really tell from trhe picture) when I was watching A Trip to the Dentist on Wednesday.

Jason, hunkering down with some popcorn, ready to watch Freaks and Geeks on DVD. He has the DVD remote and everything! You can even see the little booklet thing that comes with the DVDs behind him! He's a total closet Freaks and Geeks fan.

Closeup of Jason. Hee. He looks like he's trying to make the remote work with the power of his mind.

Bobcats! Well, bobcat. This is the mother. Quick explanation for those of you who haven't been friends with me very long: we have bobcats in our backyard. They come by every summer and... yeah. That's about it. We don't live in the wilderness or anything, we live in the suburbs, actually, and it's totally random, but they're very cute, so yeah. We saw the mother and two of her kids in July a couple of times, and then they disappeared, but recently we've been seeing her again with two new little kittens. They're too fucking cute. Seriously. Um, for all following captions, I'm labelling the two kid bobcats as he's, because I don't want to have to write he/she and brother/sister and so on for each one because I'm lazy.

One of the baby bobcats looks down at his brother.

The bobcat taunts his brother for not being able to get up to where he is.

The other bobcat looks up adorably, trying to figure it out.

Ah! He's got it!

Ha! Look who's up higher now!

The two try to figure out a way to both be on the chair at once (or to kick the other off the chair).

Why, yes, we are the most adorable creatures ever.

Edit: Also (totally random), I realized why I've always pronounced meme as "mehm" rather than how it's supposed to be pronounced, "meem" (at least, I think that's it): because in french, there's a word même, which means "same", and that is supposed to be pronounced "mehm". So, whenever I see meme, I correlate it with that pronunciation. ...yeah. No one probably cared about that, but I had to express my discovery.
