First, please give me suggestions of pictures to take for the photo meme. So far I have two things to take pictures of (3 if you include [livejournal.com profile] violetmist2003's face, which I'm not) and I would like to take loads of pictures. So please, tell me what to take pictures of!

Yesterday we got our teachers to sign recommendations for the classes we want to take next year. Right now, I'm signed up for AP English 4, AP Calculus BC, AP French, AP Political Science/AP Economics (each is a semester course), AP Chemistry, and Wind Ensemble. I was planning on taking Poli Sci and Econ over the summer at Irvine Valley College, but it turns out that there's only one Poli Sci course and it starts in late May and it has some mandatory meeting when I'm in school, so it doesn't look like that's going to work out. So I guess I'll try to take it at summer school at my high school. Only problem is that everyone wants to take it over the summer, so they do this lottery thing where they randomly draw who gets in. I hope I do because I really want to take AP Physics, and I really don't like economics. AP Poli Sci would actually be fine with me if I didn't want to take AP Physics since political science is one of the areas I'm thinking about going into in college, but I don't really want to take AP Econ. Oh well.

One of the reasons I was more worried about taking Physics anyways was that my chemistry teacher was talking this morning (as were all the science teachers. My friends' bio teacher was telling them about it a lot too) that colleges really like seeing 1 year of bio, 1 of chem, and 1 of physics, and we get a year of bio through our Coordinated Science 1 and 2 classes (mandatory freshman and sophomore year), and I'm in chem now, so it's better to take physics next year than AP Chem. But I really love chemistry so I want to take it more than physics, and in any case that whole one year of each thing is more for UCs, and I'm only applying to one UC probably, and also pretty much only if you plan to be a science major. And even though I don't know what I want to do yet, I definitely am not going to major in science. And most of the schools I apply to be will be smaller liberal arts colleges anyways, and that shouldn't matter as much to them.

Veronica Mars tonight! Veronica Mars always makes the day better.

I don't think I ever noticed your header before. Look at all those couply couples! :) And I'll try to think unique suggestions for your photo meme. I'm pretty lame when it comes to those.

Veronica Mars does make the day better. Every week I wait for wednesday to come, then once the good tv is over, I know I only have two days of work left. Good deal, I say.

Hee, yep, definitely a lot of couples there. Ah, thank you! I totally understand what you mean, I always suck at coming up with suggestions for memes like these, but I really want to take some pictures and post them, so I appreciate any requests you have. :)

Ah, definitely. Veronica Mars makes my day so much more enjoyable.

Yay VM! *bounces*

Wow, that's a lot of AP classes. I would die. I'm taking only one now (it's called "college level" though and I don't have to take the AP test at the end) and it's hard enough. I've never heard that thing about colleges wanting Physics before, I always hear that they want Biology and Chemistry and at least three years of science, unless you want to major in science. The UCs might want that, but if you would rather go to a small liberal arts school, they'll just love the fact that you took four years of science at all, and that it was AP. Or, at least, that's been my experience with them. *shrug*

Heh, I know, it is a lot. But I don't think it will be too bad. This year the most studying I have to do is for AP Euro, but that's more because it's a history class than AP, so I think next year I probably won't have any classes where I just have to study for hours each day. And some of the classes I already know will be easy A's. Like actually this year (and also for next year), French 4 (the class I'm in this year) and AP French are combined into one class because we don't have enough people wanting to take AP French, and so I'll have the same teacher next year, and she's a really easy teacher. I don't put in any effort into the class and I have a solid A. So some of the classes I'm not as worried about.

For Physics I actually forgot to mention that my chem teacher went onto say that a reason it's good to take Physics too is that if you are going to be a science major, you'll have to take physics in college, and the classes in college are much harder without having the basic foundation you can get in high school. Of course I looked up required classes for the major I'm probably going to go into (which is not science) and Physics isn't required at all, so I'm not as worried about taking it.

I love pictures of the outdoors...flowers, trees, leaves, land, grass blades, lilypads, cattails, etc...

All right, I'll be sure to take some pictures of the outdoors, then. :)
