!! omg. I just convinced my mom to buy me tickets for both X Games Skateboard Vert and Skateboard Best Trick. This is so amazing. :DDD Um, yeah, I haven't talked about this before here, but I totally love the X Games and Gravity Games (X Games are superior, though) and everything like it. I don't know why it is, but I find it totally awesome to watch, and I go insane about it every year. And they're in L.A. this year, once again, so it's actually feasible for me to go! My mom was a little annoyed about it being in L.A. because while it isn't so far that it's impossible, it is a hassle to drive there and back, especially twice in a row (one is on a Friday, the other is the next day). Last year I got free tickets to the skateboard Big Air which was totally awesome, but this is even better, because Skateboard Vert and Best Trick are my favorite events. eee I'm so excited for this. I told myself earlier that I had to definitely find out about tickets in advance and get them (I didn't last year, it was a total last minute thing where a friend of the family who works for KROQ found out I liked the X Games and said she could get me 2 free tickets), but I didn't think I'd actually manage it. Now I just have to make sure Annie is free to go on August 5th and 6th (if you're not, I will kill you >:O). Or if Annie can't go to one or both dates, find someone else who would want to (Tiffany? Lulu? Anyone?). This is going to rock so much. :D

Anyways. Uh. I think more people should comment here and tell me stuff to photograph. Anything at all, really. It can be totally random. I'll post the pictures Friday night or Saturday, since I'll be able to photograph everything by then.

Oh, also, I edited the post with the lyrics meme with the answers since I didn't think anyone else would guess any. So if there were any you thought you should've known (or ones I know you should have known, coughTiffanycough), then you can go check.

I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

I added you a few days ago ( my journal is pretty new...and i have no friends yet) and didn't comment or anything, but anyhoo...Something about me? Um, I can easily get obsessed about certain things: tv shows, books, list making, taking pictures, but they never last. My current obsession? TV shows. Any good TV show: Lost, Buffy, Angel, Gilmore Girls, Sex and the City, Everwood They're pretty much my favourites and I can't wait for The Emmy nominations tomorrow so I can be disapointed that they've once again failed to recognise true talent. =)

I'm totally like that, I get obsessed with things very easily. For the past few months it's been TV shows, lately. Buffy and Angel are still two of my favorite shows, and I really like Lost, Gilmore Girls, and Everwood. Never seen Sex and the City though. But yeah, I can't wait for the Emmy noms tomorrow, even though I can pretty much guess who'll be nominated, and very few people I think deserve to be nommed will be.

Yeah, same here. There were a few I really wanted that I knew wouldn't have a chance of making it, but it still disappointed me when they weren't nommed. Still, I was pleased with some of the noms.

I doubt I can go to the X Games, since I'm still trying to wheedle my way into the Used concert next next Saturday [or sometime around there]. Sorry :(.

...uh the Universal Ampitheatre (now Gibson Ampitheatre, but same place) is pretty far. =/ It's up in the LA area, I believe. My mom despises driving up there. And I've already convinced her to drive me up there both August 5th and 6th for X Games, so I definitely am not even thinking about asking her to drive me up there for any other reason anytime soon. Meh, I saw The Used last March, anyways, and I haven't been as into their music for awhile now. So, I don't mind missing it so much. I'll catch them next time, and hopefully they'll be a lot closer to Irvine.

Yeah, I was thinking it was pretty far too. Meh.

Yeah, I just checked, and it's actually farther than L.A. It's past Beverly Hills and Hollywood and all that. There's no chance in hell my mom would agree to that after already agreeing to take me up to the X Games two days in a row. Oh well. Next time.

I really want to go to a TBS one, since I've never really appreciated them live. The last time I went, I only knew like one song.

I've been to the Boom Boom Huckjam twice a few years ago. It was incredible to see everything done in person. YAY you! You must post all about it when you go.

Ah, that's awesome. I guess I'm more into the skateboarding than anything, but I still really love BMX and Moto X. Ryan Nyquist is my favorite BMX-er, but I really love Dave Mirra and Alan Cooke as well. And Ryan Guettler, I remember thinking he was pretty awesome last year.

Ooh, that's cool. I only have ever been to the Skateboard Big Air last year. It was really awesome, but I think this year'll be even better. And I'll definitely post all about it. I'll even post about the stuff that I just watch on TV, since during X Games, I go pretty insane, and can't really think about anything else for a couple of weeks, so I feel the need to comment on pretty much everything I watch relating to it.

I am addicted to chocolate - not addicted in the way I just love chocolate, addicted in the way when I go without its hard to concentrate and I get grouchy, its the same with tea (yumm tea).

Awwww, don't feel uncool. Skateboard vert is just like... I don't know, it's simple, but I can't explain it. So, here's a picture. It's when the skaters go up and down the half-pipe. They have a certain time limit and there are several rounds, and whoever gets the best score, wins. Best Trick is similar in that it's done on the half-pipe, but the difference is that the skaters take turns trying to perform their most original/amazing/spectacular trick. It's really awesome. And thanks, I'm sure I'll have a great time. :D

Heh, yeah, I'm like that with Pepsi. If I don't have a Pepsi once each day, I'll get a headache and get more grouchy. I don't think that's very healthy for me, but oh well.

Ooh, that sounds interesting. That doesn't sound geeky to me. I'm actually pretty interested in politics and philosophy (more in politics, though). Don't actually know much about either subject, but I do find them interesting.

Okay, here's a pretty weird fact about me. I have this really weird fear of snails. lol, I don't even know where it came from. I also love music, I play a few instruments but mostly I've played the violin since I was like 9 or 10, although I recently switched over to viola. Ummm...oh! And I love the smell of new shoes... Don't judge me! ;p

Hee, I wouldn't judge you for loving the smell of new shoes, as I like it too. New shoes, and also new books. And I really love music as well. Never played any string instruments, but I have played several others. :)
