omg I don't even know where to start. Chuck feels like my show more than any other I watch (with the exception possibly of Greek, although I'm a bit more obsessive over Chuck). It's amazing having it back, seriously. It's a show that I just adore unequivocally. It's definitely not the best TV show ever, or even on television now, but it's definitely my favorite at the moment.

This episode felt a little weird at first just because Chuck and Casey and Sarah were all separated! It started feeling right once Chuck and Sarah got captured and they started working together. Then it was like "Oh yes, this is the show I remember and have been missing." (Not that I didn't like the beginning, because I did; it just felt a little weird).

I loved Casey rescuing them in Mexico. I loved him kind of... sticking up, I guess, for Sarah when Chuck went to the Castle and was asking about her and she called and Casey wouldn't let him talk to her or tell him anything about her. I love their... quasi-friendship, I guess.

I was shocked that Emmett was killed (and a little sad, since I love Tony Hale), but I think it worked. I also thought I would hate if Chuck returned to the BuyMore, but I think it actually works here. The problem before was that being apart of the Nerd Herd really was his job, and the CIA stuff was more just him... helping out. He wasn't really involved, and the BuyMore was always more his real life. But now the BuyMore really is just a cover. Chuck is a real spy now.

I loved everything Chuck/Sarah in these episodes. I'm enjoying the drama and angst. Even though I'm always like "l;kjfs THEY NEED TO BE TOGETHER," the build-up is always the best, and once they're together I don't want them constantly breaking up, so I'm okay with them dragging it out more. Last season I loved how Sarah slowly opened up to Chuck and finally was able to show him how she felt by the end, so this season I like how after he basically betrays her, she totally shuts down. The scene where she's trying to train him to fight with the poles/sticks/staffs/whatever was utterly heartbreaking, because you see she's trying to shut herself down and not let him in, but she's so angry and hurt and oh man. That scene was utter perfection.

;lkjasf holy crap I so thought Devon was dead there for a second! The guy had the needle with the poison and Sarah looked so devastated and they didn't tell us what happened and they just killed Emmett and for a second I was like "...did they just kill Devon? NOOOO." And then they showed the previews and oh thank god. I love him so much. I was so happy when he became a regular last season and when he proposed to Ellie because it was like "YES HE'S STICKING AROUND."

I adored this episode so much. Everything just felt right to me. There was a lot of Ellie/Devon which I really liked, since I was a little afraid after the last episode where there wasn't a whole lot of them and they moved out of the apartment. I liked how Chuck was more in control and definitely more of a spy than he was last season, but still clearly needs help and has a lot to learn. I loved the information we got about Casey and just really everything about him in this episode. And I absolutely adored everything Chuck/Sarah. I liked that they were a lot less tense around each other and Chuck got over his needs to continually talk about their relationship and that Sarah had... forgiven him a bit. Or at least didn't seem as upset or angry around him. And the scene where he asked her what their cover should be was so bittersweet and absolutely perfect.

I was also thinking about BuyMore and trying to remember what happened there, and then I realized that they weren't involved at all. I clearly wouldn't miss them at all if they weren't there. I don't hate the BuyMore plots, and some have been great (like the Christmas episode last season was perfection), but for the most part I really wouldn't care if they cut those plots out. Especially since Anna is gone now; she was my favorite of them. And Emmett I enjoyed because I love Tony Hale, but he's also gone. Oh well.

alskjf ugh this show is so good. I don't want to have to wait a week for the next episode! But I am so thrilled this show is back. And that it did really well in the ratings on Sunday; much better than I expected. Maybe there actually is a chance for a 4th season?

How I Met Your Mother
I haven't been enjoying this season very much, but I thought this episode was really great. We got serious information about the mother! She's like... in sight! Or something! I knew Rachel Bilson couldn't possibly be the mother, but I wasn't expecting her roommate to be the mother (well, until they went to the apartment and Ted saw the bus thing).

The woman bartender was so not hot in the slightest. I'm with Marshall; Lily is a zillion times hotter than that woman. So is Robin. And Robin actually looked less attractive to me when she was behind the bar. eh. This is kind of like when Mandy Moore guest starred and everyone was like "OMG SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL" or whatever, since she looked pretty trashy in that episode (and normally she is really pretty).

I wasn't sure how the musical sequence would work, but I adored it. I really loved the choreography, and Neil sounded amazing. The song was a lot of fun, too.

Yeah, just a great episode all around, I thought. Although it felt like it was over too soon.

The Big Bang Theory
I thought this was a good episode, but ugh, Leonard is such a bad boyfriend. If your boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse/whoever believes in something you don't, you don't have to renounce everything you believe in and believe what they do. And I'm sure Penny would be fine if Leonard was just like "I don't believe in psychics, but I support you" or whatever. But he becomes an asshole when he mocks her at length and elaborates upon all the reasons she's wrong and is just a total douche. And I'm someone who doesn't believe in psychics or astrology or anything like that in the slightest. But how does it hurt Penny or Leonard or anyone if Penny believes it? Unless the psychic is telling her to do something terrible like kill someone or whatever, obviously. And even though he apologized at the end and did the right thing, it took way too long for him to get to that place, and he still brought that stupid book with him, which made me feel like he wasn't totally sincere. ugh. How can people actually ship the two of them?

Um, but I enjoyed the rest. It's interesting seeing Howard in an actual relationship. I'm liking it more than I thought it would. And Sheldon and Raj together is always awesome. I loved them all playing Rock Band together. And yay for Raj getting some! I've felt bad for him since Howard started dating Bernadette.

Also, I randomly really adored Sheldon learning Finnish because he was bored or whatever and was waiting for his computer to finish, since I've totally taught myself the Russian and Korean alphabets and tried to teach myself some vocab/grammar in Korean and Italian. (I identify more with Sheldon than is probably healthy.)

I'm almost done with Criminal Minds! I'm finally to the 5th season, so I will probably finish today. I'm behind on other TV, though, so tomorrow I'll probably be catching up on everything else. I have less than 2 weeks left here, which kind of sucks. I'm not ready to go back to school yet.

i am totally with you about himym! i've found that this season hasn't really been up to par at all compared to prior seasons.

and on the leonard topic, the only logical thing i can come up with is that for his whole life, all leonard has really known is science and fact. and the whole having a girlfriend is quite new, especially one like penny. so i would assume that it's probably taking him a while to understand the whole being supportive thing about psychics and astrology when he's constantly surrounded by people who only believe in what is factually true. i'm not sure if any of this is making sense and i feel like i've gone off on some sort of tangent. but that is my blurb! (this does not whatsoever mean that i don't agree with you on the whole bad boyfriend front!)

There have been a few episodes that I remember enjoying and finding funny while I was watching them, but thinking back on the season now, I can't really remember any standout episodes. I can definitely remember the stuff I haven't liked or found annoying, but the good stuff hasn't been good enough to outweigh the bad. It sucks, because I was totally head over heels for this show last season and I guess my hopes were too high for this season.

I mean, I think that does make sense, but at the same time, I still wanted him to be more understanding and less outwardly mocking Penny. But I also don't like Leonard (well, I like him all right in some episodes, but I hate when he acts like he did in this episode, and I definitely hate what he acts like when he's with Penny or going after Penny), so I feel like I'm probably biased and ready to jump at him for anything he does remotely wrong.
