omg, we watched the best safety video ever in chemistry today. Ok, so they were talking about what to do if someone spills chemicals like all over you, so they showed this one guy spill a bunch of chemicals on the other. So then both guys went into the back of the room where there was this shower head and the guy that had the chemicals on him took off his shirt and showered all the chemicals off, and the guy that spilled the stuff on him was standing behind him, just simply staring at his ass. Seriously. That alone was enough to make the entire class crack up, but at that point, the shot switched down to his feet and showed his pants coming off. And at that moment the voice over was all "Of course, all the students will leave the room to give you privacy" or whatever, but that you had to take all your clothes off, and the shot switched back up to the top half of the kid, now naked (or maybe in his boxers, but the implication was you had to take all your clothes off, so I'm thinking he was supposed to be totally naked), and the guy who spilled stuff on him is still behind him, totally checking out his ass. It was so fucking awesome.

Another funny (though not nearly as awesome) part was where they showed an entire chemistry classroom on fire for like a minute, and then one of the kids looked up and was all "Hey. Fire." Like, totally deadpan, and like they wouldn't have noticed it before that. I loved that video. Best thing ever.

Eck. Quiz in AP Euro, and I think I failed it. Or at least, did really horribly. Only 15 points though. We were also supposed to have study guides printed out, but I forgot, so I got marked off points for that. Wonderful.

In English, we had a pop quiz on our homework from last night, and I did the homework and everything, but I got a 2/5 on it. sigh. This is not starting the year off right. But wtf, how many quizzes have we had already? 3 Friday, 2 today, I have a quiz tomorrow, and a quiz on Friday. It hasn't even been a full week of school, yet! I hate junior year.

I love having Kurdziel again. So awesome. It'd be better if I had Emma and Cindy in it again, like Kurdziel last year, but I'll take what I can get.

My head hurts. When I was leaving after marching band today, I was kneeling down by the side of the band room near the entrance, putting books in my bag, and Schmee ran into my head with a bass drum. It wasn't pleasant.

Tonight, all 4 of my Tuesday shows for this year premiere: Gilmore Girls, House, Bones, and Supernatural. I'll probably only be able to see GG and House tonight, though. Bones I've already seen the pilot, so I'll probably wait till next week to start watching. Supernatural, I don't know when I'll have a chance to see. I'm just watching it on a whim, so I might not get to it until this weekend. 4 shows is going to be a lot to attempt to watch on one night, but I think I'll probably end up dropping Bones (unless it gets a lot better than the pilot. I liked it when I saw it, but the more and more that I think about it, the more and more I don't like it) and possibly Supernatural.

Hahaha. That's hillarious. I wish I had seen that. I've seen some pretty funny science videos trying to be all serious. Like this one time we were watching a video on Magnesium. And they start to burn it. Of course, you can't look directly at it, but the video shows two kids staring at it, and totally dead pan the narrator goes, "You should always look away while burning magnesium." Maybe you had to be there, but it was pretty funny. Not as funny as the ass-staring thing you saw though.

Hee, that's awesome. That sounds kind of like the stuff in the video I saw.

Haha, slashy safety videos are so much cooler than other chemistry stuff.

Heh, they totally are.

"don't let modesty make your injury worse." that's my favorite quote from the chemistry video. i think... all of the people who enjoyed that video should make a plan to steal it and record it and distribute it throughout the school. just cuz its freaking awesome.
