guh. So exhuasted.

Brief post to let you know that I'm not dead. Yesterday was a football game, so it was straight home, attempt to study for Macbeth unit test, football game, got back at 10:30, quickly shower, and then collapsed. Tomorrow is a competition and I'm volunteering at the animal shelter in the morning, and I won't be back from the comp until... well awards are at like 10 or 10:30, so after that. So, don't expect to see me tomorrow either. And I'd spend more time on today, except I have TV (some from like 3 weeks ago) to watch, a book for English to read, and All Southern audition music to practice.

Ok, so we watched this movie Monday and Tuesday (...well, some people did. I did my math homework instead) and had to fill out this packet on it and the packet turned out to be 70 fucking points. That's ridiculous. This essay we wrote was out of 100 points (which I got 100 on! Yay!) and our last test was out of like 100 and 70 is just way too much. And then we had a quiz on the movie today and want to know how much it was worth? 150 points! wtf? Our last unit test was only 100! Ridiculous! But then we looked and there were 4 questions and 2 had a minimum word limit of 50 and the other 2 had a minimum word limit of 25, and that adds up to a 150 word minimum for the entire test. Coincidence? Nope. She was all "Yes, each word you write counts 1 point!" ...wtf? I just... bah. Hate this class. Everything's just so completely ridiculous.

I'm sorry...1 point a word? w.t.h. Like, is that even possible? Or allowed? I'm just...stunned.

I know. This teacher is one of the most idiotic teachers I've ever had. And for grading, it's like... she assesses if people are stronger or weaker at French within the first few weeks and whether she likes them or not, and then for the rest of the year she essentially just grades based on that. Like my friend is really good at French, but she always argues with her and the teacher knows she doesn't like her, so she's always taking random points off her work that totally aren't warranted. It's terrible.

I ♥ Macbeth!!

ARGH my French classes used to be like that, I despised it so freaking much. The kids were awful, the teacher was awful SO I switched to Japanese. the kids are still awful.

I actually really loved Macbeth too when we were reading. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. The unit test on it sucked, though.

Aw, that sucks. That's pretty much the same for me. Luckily there are some people in the class I like, including one of my closest friends, so there is that. The teacher is just insane, though. Unfortunately, she's the only AP French teacher, so I'm going to have to have her again next year, too.
