Ha! I've totally gotten my dad into The Office now (well my mom too, but I'm more impressed that I got my dad into it). Because both my parents loved the British version, but they've only seen random episodes of the U.S. version and they just thought it was pretty good, but nowhere near as great. But then I convinced them to watch Casino Night on Thursday and then both of them would stop when they walked through the family room when I was watching my DVDs and watch like half an episode and then go on with whatever they were doing, and last night my dad asked if they could watch the first disc of my DVDs since I was done with it, and now every time my dad is in the same room as me, he tells me how much better a show The Office is than he originally gave it credit for. So, yay! :D

Anyways, I finished my DVDs.
The 2 1/2 hours of deleted scenes were pretty much the best thing ever. The deleted scenes I loved most would probably be Jim's one during The Client of his both best and worst first date because it turns out it was with Pam and it was totally awesome until he found out she was engaged. I so wish they had kept that in, because it was heartbreaking. And also the scene in Booze Cruise where Katy makes Jim make a toast to Roy and Pam. geez. No wonder he broke up with her so harshly. Those were probably my two favorite.

Oh, but I totally loved the one where Jim talked about babysitting Sasha, Toby's daughter. So sweet. And the one during The Fire where Jim reveals that he and Toby used to sit next to each other when he first started there and how they were sort of friends and stuff. Yeah, I love Jim and Toby, if you can't tell. Toby's so my favorite secondary character (although they're all awesome, so it's hard to choose). His line during Casino Night about why he thought it wasn't the best idea to invite the Boy Scouts to Casino Night is pretty much my favorite line of the series. Well, funny line, at least, because I like "I would save the receptionist. I just wanted to clear that up" and the whole "I'm in love with you speech" during Casino Night more.

And yeah, I totally love John Krasinski now (...ok, so I loved him before too, but... still. Somehow even more). All those extra deleted scenes that were amazing, and I love how Jenna always talks about how amazing he is on all of the commentaries, and how he's such a good crier and stuff, and yeah. I loved all the commentaries, too, btw. They were all so great. I love how much of a fangirl Jenna is, too. I loved finding out that the whole "Hi." "Hey." thing in Drug Testing was I think John's idea? Pretty awesome. And I just really loved how much everyone in the cast and crew just seem to really love the show and love working on it. That just makes me really happy. Oh, oh, and I loved finding out that the whole reading of Michael's script during The Client was improvised, because that just makes it all the more hilarious to me. The commentary on The Secret was probably my favorite commentary, but they were all awesome.

The bloopers were pretty awesome, too. And they were so wonderfully long! :D I loved the bit from... I think Valentine's Day where Dwight's trying to write like a poem for Angela and he says something about her like "You're evil like a hobbit" and John (and possibly Rainn too) just start cracking up, because it so completely hilarious. I think the gag reel on the Arrested Development DVDs was funnier, but these were still ridiculously awesome.

Yeah, I don't know, there was just so much about these DVDs that I loved. Best DVDs ever.

Ah, 4 days until The Office season 3 premiere! This week is going to go by so slowly.

I'm still working on the commentaries. Only one on disc three to go, then disc four.

But, seriously...can you believe it? FOUR DAYS. This entire summer I didn't even know The Office's premiere date. I just found out/realized it two weeks ago so I can't believe it's here! I don't even care what outcome is for Jim/Pam (okay, I sort of do) I'm just excited for the show to be back. 22 new episodes... 22! Does it get any better?

I know! I can't believe it's all of a sudden only 4 days now! Ah, I can't wait. Yay for new episodes! :D Especially since I didn't get into the show until after the season 2 finale, so the premiere on Thursday will be the first time I've ever seen an episode the first time it's aired.
