Ah, this afternoon was good. After jazz band I went to Emma's house around 6 and watched all of Sense and Sensibility again because she found she had it on like Monday or Tuesday and missed the first 45 min of it and I really liked it and wanted to see it again. It was fun seeing it again, especially since I noticed a bunch of random stuff I didn't the first time. Like, there's this one part, where they have a parrot in the entrance way and then when they're entering the house there are people in front talking, but in the background Miss Steele (who's kind of like... one of the bad guys you could say) bends over to see it and it totally starts attacking her. It's awesome. And Hugh Laurie's character is still the best ever. And he reminds me of Mr. Darcy, and I think it'd be awesome if Hugh Laurie played Mr. Darcy in the 6 hour version of Pride and Prejudice that we're going to watch some of in English (and that I'm totally going to want to watch all of it, too) but I haven't seen it so I don't know how the actor who plays him is and if he's really awesome or not.

...um, yes. I don't think I make much sense now, but Emma and I got really silly after we finished watching it and so I don't think I'm able to speak normally right now.

Oh, and I totally finished the final 180 pages of Pride and Prejudice last night (instead of studying for Euro, which is why I'm currently getting a B in Euro, and I really need to fix that). I'm not sure how I feel about it. I mean, I did like it, but I don't think I liked it as much as I thought I would, I guess. I don't know. I was just trying to get through it for plot so I'd understand it better when we start working with it next week in class. I also have read the first 50 pages in Sense and Sensibility, and wtf Elinor's supposed to be 19? And Marianne is supposed to be 16?! Insanity. The movie is actually pretty close to the book, though, considering that they always change things from book to movies.

I found out that I got a B- on my sonnet analysis essay, which isn't that great, but I'm just happy that I got a B and that it's done with. It's supposedly also the hardest thing we do all year in English, so at least it's over with.

What else? I don't know. Tomorrow should be good. I'll probably finish Sense and Sensibility, hopefully catch up on one of the episodes I missed this week (I have Lost, The O.C., and Reunion to watch, except I might stop watching Reunion because it's been cancelled and I won't get to find out how whoever killed Sam did it and why and all that and in any case My Name is Earl is moving to Thursdays at 9 and I had kind of given up on it because it's too much trouble to remember to download and I can't record it because I watch both Supernatural and House at its current Tuesday 9 PM spot, and if I stop Reunion I can record My Name is Earl while watching Everwood), and maybe make some icons. I really want to icon this week's Veronica Mars.

have you seen the pride and prejudice movie yet? i really liked it. i want to read the book, whenever i have time. perhaps over christmas break.

i think colin firth plays mr. darcy in the 6 hour version. i haven't seen it, but i'm sure he did a good job (because he's colin firth, and that's what he does).

I haven't seen it yet. My English teacher says she saw a making of it and there's this one scene (well, at least one scene, as she didn't see it all) that they totally screwed up, so she told us not to see it until we finished the book. And I guess I can see it now that I've finished, but I don't know when I will get to it, since there are a few other movies I really want to see now. I think I'll eventually end up seeing it, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, I heard that he does and that he's really great in it, but I've never seen him in anything, so I don't know. I'll guess I'll just have to wait and see. :)

Heh, yeah, it isn't very easy to understand. I was just reading it through once so I could grasp the basics of the story and then go back and annotate and study it more. I haven't seen either, but we are going to see about 2 or 3 hours I think of the BBC version (and I'll probably try to get my hands on it so I can see all 6 hours of it). I don't know if I'll see the movie version that just came out, though.

P&P is awesome. It's one of the best books we've ever read at Uni. And fjkal Darcy's so freaking adorable in his affections for Eliza.

P&P is pretty awesome. Darcy is totally awesome, too. I heart him.
