(no subject)

I forgot to mention in my last post, but it's a new month, and in October I watched 249 episodes of TV, 2 movies, and read 2 books. Not bad considering recently I've been watching like no movies and reading no books. And I think the episodes of TV might be the highest I've watched in a month all year which is pretty ridiculous. I guess it's the combination of me watching loads of shows, all the shows being new pretty much all through October, and watching all of Fringe, The Big Bang Theory, and Greek.

Anyways, thank you so much to everyone who's helped out with my research project so far! I've been stressing out about getting enough participants for this project since... well, since I found out that I'd have to do a project like this and recruit a bunch of participants. Right now, I'm at 20 participants, which doesn't sound great, but it's actually better than I thought I've had at this point, and I've barely sent it out to anyone I know from school. So hopefully I'll be able to get close to 100. I'm trying not to obsess too much over it right now. Or refresh the page to see how many participants I have every other second. If you have no idea what I'm taking about, check out this post I made yesterday! I could still really use a lot of help!

I have a lot of various things coming up. blah. I have a German test on Friday I need to start studying for. I actually got nearly all my Discrete Math homework done last night, which is awesome. It always stresses me out way too much when I leave it all for Wednesday night. Cognitive Psych is quickly becoming my absolute favorite class. It's reminding me of how much I love psychology and how interested I am in it in general, even though Cognitive Psych isn't even my favorite area in psych. And it helps that I ended up with a 105 on the midterm.

I have very random thoughts on TV!

AARON TVEIT. HI THERE. I've been in love with him since I watched the Tonys and discovered Next to Normal and heard him sing. I don't exactly care about Trip very much, but I do adore Aaron, so I'm still excited that Trip finally showed up after them talking about him all this time. (NOW IF ONLY HE WOULD SING! Or go on Glee... AND SING.)

Also, was the end hinting at Trip and Serena getting together? Because even though I adore Carter and want him to come back, I'm all for Trip and Serena happening if it means Trip sticks around.

A+ CAST THERE! Elizabeth Mitchell and Scott Wolf were enough to make me be like "Hey, cool!" but then there were Alan Tudyk and Morena Baccarin!

I totally knew that Alan Tudyk was a Visitor before they even got into the whole "They've been here for awhile" thing. He's not dead for good, is he? I hope not. I was too happy to have him back on my screen on a potentially regular basis.

I did not, however, suspect that guy-about-to-be-engaged (I absorbed absolutely 0 of the names of the characters) was a Visitor. That was a cool twist.

As a whole, I thought it was a great pilot and I'm really intrigued by the show. But then again, I really loved the Flashforward pilot, and since then I've been pretty bored by that show. So I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much.

I don't see Trip sticking around. Aaron Tveit is still in "Next to Normal" and I think he's attached to one or two other shows on Broadway, including "Catch Me If You Can" (if it ever hits Broadway). So, I think the writers are just trying to leave a door open in case he can come back in the future. I love him too, I think he's ridiculously talented!

As it stands now, I kind of wish I could watch the Chuck/Blair show. Not loving most of the other plots during these past few episodes. Although I am liking Dan more, even if I want to see him on screen less now than ever lol.

Haven't watched "V" yet. I know they're only airing 4 episodes initially and then the rest in the spring, so I figured I'd catch up somewhere in between. Knowing Alan Tudyk, Elizabeth Mitchell, Morena Baccarin & Scott Wolf are in it makes me want to watch it a bit more.

Yeah, I didn't really expect him to stick around for like every episode the rest of the season, but I was hoping he'd be in another episode or two. Most of the time Gossip Girl has been boring me. I do like Dan more this season, definitely, but I'm not that invested in his storyline. Blair/Chuck is pretty much the best thing right now.

I know a lot of people really seemed to adore the V pilot, and other people were less than impressed. I really found it intriguing and I'm really interested to see where they go with everything, especially since I didn't watch the original miniseries this is based on. It's a pretty awesome cast.

Here's the promo they showed at the end of the broadcast, Alan Tudyk returns!

Ah, awesome, thank you for that; I almost never watch the promos. I'm hoping he'll be around for more than just 1 more episode, but even 1 more episode is awesome. He definitely needs to be on my TV more often than he has been.
