Something I wanted to say about The Christmas Invasion (and New Earth, I guess, too). Ah man, I totally didn't realize that the song they play in the finale... it's either during the wall scene or the one where Rose and the Doctor say goodbye (I think it's when they say goodbye) is played in the "snow" scene of The Christmas Invasion (and also in a scene of New Earth, so I'm guessing they played it throughout the season and I just didn't notice before). I totally didn't realize that before, so when I heard it, I was all "OMG ROSE IS GONE" and started tearing up. Because yeah. I'm still not over the season 2 finale. I don't know that I mentioned it in my LJ, but I was pretty much bawling for the entire second half of the finale, and even like three months after it aired I tried to make icons of it and I just ended up crying again when I got to the end. I can barely think about it without getting all teary. So yeah, hearing that song brought all that back again. sigh. I miss Rose. :(

Um, yeah, but I forgot how much I loved The Christmas Invasion and New Earth. Especially TCI, since I hadn't seen that episode since last December. So yeah, it was lots of fun to see those episodes again. I prefer season 1 as a whole better, but season 2 is still lots of fun, so I am looking forward to seeing all the episodes again. Plus, I do like Ten better than Nine (not that I don't like Nine, because I do. But for some reason, I love Ten just the slightest bit more).

All the millions of Battlestar Galactica previews during Doctor Who made me ridiculously giddy for the premiere next Friday. I kind of wasn't thinking about it much, but now that I've realized it's premiering in just a week, I'm super excited. Too bad we have a football game next Friday, so I won't be able to see the episode until Saturday morning/early afternoon.

I also ended up watching the premiere of Ugly Betty.
Daniel Meade is pretty much the most gorgeous person ever. Well, ok, maybe not the most gorgeous, but he's pretty damn hot. And I don't usually get all like... "OMG SUCH AND SO ACTOR IS SO HOT OMG!!!!11!1" so for me to be fangirling like this... yeah. That's saying something.

Um, to the actual show, though. It took me a little bit to get into it, and I wasn't sure about it at first, but by the end I really loved it. I think the show's strength is the Betty/Daniel team, so once they started working together I started really loving it. I'm really looking forward to seeing them more together (not even in a relationship-y way, just as a like... partnership) in future episodes.

Ugly Betty's on the same time I think as My Name is Earl and The Office, but I don't think I'm watching anything else at the same time, so I can record it. I wasn't sure I'd keep watching it, but yeah, I ended up liking it a lot, so I'll keep watching. I was hesitant of adding a new show to all the other ones I'm watching, but I did like it a lot, and I should have time Fridays before Doctor Who/BSG to watch the episodes I record.

I ended up catching the latter part of the Ugly Betty premier too, and was actually surprised that it was pretty good. I like that the idea is they're all equals. Betty's not worse because she's ugly(which, America whatsherface? Not ugly, even when you stick braces and glasses and whatever else on her)but she's not better. They're all just people. It was cool.

I agree, I like that too. And yeah, the actress who plays Betty is totally not ugly at all. But yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing more of this show.

i miss Rose too! I still cant believe she's left, it sucks. That finale was probably the sadest thing i have ever seen.

The Christmas Invasion is probably my favourite episode of Doctor Who. I just love the fight and the Doctors speech and the end where she takes his hand...awww!

I know! I'm going to try to watch the third season of Doctor Who when it starts airing, but I don't even know if I'm going to be able to since I'll be missing Rose so much.

The Christmas Invasion is probably one of my favorite Doctor Who episodes. It's just so fun, and it's a great introduction for Ten.
