May. 17th, 2007 10:29 pmThursday night TV is the death of me. I don't even know what to freak out about first.
;ALKSDFJLKJ JIM/PAM A;LKJDLKJLJKLKJ OMG FREAK OUT.
I was expecting it at the beginning of the episode, but I started getting nervous and then oh but the end was so perfect! The cutting between Jim remembering their conversation and the note from Pam AND THE GOLD MEDAL FROM OFFICE OLYMPICS OMG CONTINUITY WTF AWESOME and then Jim coming back and oh I love how it was done. It wasn't over-the-top (because as fun as it would be to see Jim come in and interupt her talking head and just kiss her, it wouldn't really be realistic), it was just simple and perfect and oh I love how Pam just couldn't stop grinning and was kind of blushing and it was awesome. oh my god I have such love for this show.
And I love how in their conversation they flashed-back to how Jim was saying he hasn't really been back since he transfered back to Scranton and how Pam said she wanted that Jim back essentially and I love that they mentioned that because Jim hasn't been the same this season and it's not as fun to watch as season 2 Jim but it's still really realistic and al;fjk have I mentioned how dead my brain is from tonight's TV, because I can't form coherent thoughts.
Ok, so besides Jim/Pam. Uh, I don't understand Jan's characterization anymore. She didn't seem a mess last season at all. She didn't even seem a mess this season until the episode with the party and then she was all of a sudden crazy. So I didn't buy the head guy being all "Are you kidding me? You've been like this for two years! You take off for days, etc." because... that seemed really recent. I don't know. I don't enjoy how she's being characterized anymore, or her and Michael's relationship, even though I liked it last season. Oh well.
I both love and hate Ryan getting the job. I think I only love it if it means he's going to stay on the show and he'll appear in the office to check up every once and awhile like Jan does and Michael won't listen to him because he's the temp and he has a boycrush on Ryan and Ryan will get frustrated and yeah. But I like Ryan, so I don't want him going off the show forever. (I don't even know why I like him, because he's totally an asshole a lot of the time and I liked him and Kelly together and then he dumped her so rudely and yeah. But I do) Oh, and it would also be awesome if Kelly makes a huge deal out of everytime he comes to the office to check up on whatever. I don't know how, but somehow. Just. Yeah. I look forward to that, so he better still be on the show in some sort of capacity.
Um, what else? I don't know. JIM AND PAM. Oh, but they're so going to skip over the entire first three months of them dating. =/ I don't enjoy that. Unless they pick up right here, but... I don't think they're going to. Whatever, as long as they don't pull a Veronica Mars S2 premiere on me, I'll be fine.
;laksfd HOW CAN THEY END IT LIKE THAT! I don't know why, but for some reason I expected things to be wrapped up. Which, there's no reason there would be, because it was guaranteed a second season ages ago (pretty much after the pilot when its ratings were ridiculously awesome), but I so expected it to be. And then it wasn't!
las;kj Santos! I didn't like him in the beginning but he got better and reformed and such and he was going to be a good dad and I don't even usually like Hilda (I mean she's ok, but she bugs me sometimes, and there aren't usually moments where I really love her. I hated when she was pushing Betty towards Walter just because she wanted that sort of relationship and refused to think about what Betty might want) but I felt so horrible for her at the very end.
And oh no, so close for Betty and Henry! al;ksjf!!! I knew in the beginning when it was so easy and he had dumped Charlie and they were going to go on their first date something had to screw it up, but for some reason I didn't see this. But I kind of don't buy she's been cheating on Henry all this time. Because, I mean, then why would she care? At the Medieval Times place, why would she be all "Back off, bitch, he's mine!" if she's been seeing someone on the side for months? It doesn't make sense to me.
I called the car thing with Alexis way at the beginning of the episode when she called him and he wouldn't tell her how he was going to kill Bradford. Didn't expect Daniel to be in the car, though, and I realized as soon as she asked for Bradford's car what was going to happen and oh poor Daniel. (I'm tired of druggie-Daniel, though. I want that changed next season. =/ )
Um, yeah. It needs to be next season now.
asfl;j DEAN. Oh, Dean. This is just... yeah. I love it. I can't wait to see how they deal with this next season, with both of them knowing how little time Dean has left and Sam getting increasingly desperate to find a way out of the deal, and just... yeah. It'll be awesome.
I'm so in awe over how awesome Supernatural is. I never expected it to get this good or for me to love it this much after the pilot. But yeah. It's awesome.
I ordered four books online at Dover Publications because they're ridiculously cheap there and they sent me a book of John Wayne cut-out dolls in the place of Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen. Somehow I feel this is not a fair trade.
