(no subject)

Ah, it seems my concerns about the new Harry Potter book not coming until sometime next week were unfounded. I checked the UPS tracking thing this morning, and the book is in Aliso Viejo right now, which is 10 miles from where I live. And according to my mom, it's the center for all UPS stuff in Orange County, or... something like that. So, it should be arriving tomorrow. Awesome.

Also, I finished the 5th book this morning. I had some comments I was going to make about it and the other books, but I don't really remember what they are, and I don't really feel like going on about it now. Still, looking forward to tomorrow, when I should be getting my book.

Today is a very blah day. I was planning on redoing my walls, but I kind of don't feel like it right now. Eh, maybe in an hour or two. I should make some icons, as it's been awhile since I made an icon post, and I have a few small sets completed, but... I don't know. I think I'll wait until I finish a small Buffy set, and then post the sets I have done. I get in and out of icon funks, where for a few weeks I'll do nothing but make icons, and then the next couple weeks I just have no motivation to make any icons at all, and I'm definitely in a no motivation funk right now. Hopefully I'll feel more inspired towards making icons in a week or two.

I did remember one comment I wanted to make after going through the first 5 books: I've never shipped any of the characters in Harry Potter (mostly because I started reading it before I knew what ships even were). But after this last reread, I paid more attention to the hints, and I can't believe that I didn't notice how blatant Ron/Hermione is. I mean, I noticed Ron's jealousy in Book 4 during the Yule Ball, but that was kind of it, and I just kind of... ignored that, I suppose. But reading through them again, it's really obvious that Ron has feelings for Hermione. Don't know about Hermione, but I definitely don't see anything between her and Harry. Pure friendship, is all. There's definitely something between Ron and Hermione, though.
