Feb. 17th, 2006 04:31 pmack I've been a terrible LJ friend recently (well, worse than usual) and I know it and I'm sorry. This week has been pretty busy schoolwise, though, and I've been trying to concentrate on that, and then when that's done, the Olympics suck me in. And I have no idea when I'm going to be back to LJ like I was before. blah. I'm sorry.
Anyways, brief update kind of: ...nothing's really happened. Just busy with school. We've started Wuthering Heights in English and I really like it. It helps to understand all the symbolism. Also, I was freaking out about a DBQ essay I took because I thought mine was crap, and then I got 100 on it. I still think it was crap, though, so I'm pretty sure Mr. Ives just really likes me. Also, my second semester seminar project is now over with, with surprisingly less drama than the first one. It helped that I forced Seher to print it out this time.
For Valentine's Day my parents always get me presents which I find weird but don't argue with, seeing as... hey! Presents! So this year I got a new black long sleeve shirt for concerts, like 30-40 In'n'Out gift certificates my dad got from this meeting thing he went to last week where he met Colin Powell (I feel like I'm spelling that wrong), $100 on my Visa Buxx card, and an Autopilot Off CD my mom got me for either Christmas or my birthday and totally forgot to give to me. heh. Excellent.
Anyways. That's kind of it. I'll be back... uh, sometime. :)
