May. 17th, 2006 09:35 pmPeople are weird. I'm just making icons, minding my own business, when out of nowhere this girl IMs me who I've never talked to before and is just all "Hey." So I'm like "...uh, hi. Who are you?" And she's all "It's Tara!" and I'm all "...uh. Who?" and she's all "TARA." (Like somehow putting it in all caps is going to make me understand. Like, oh, RIGHT. Now I get it! TARA!) So I'm like "...I don't know anyone named Tara, so maybe you could understand my confusion?" and she's all "...is this Sarah?" and I'm all "No." and she's all "...oh." So I think that's it. But then 5 min later, she IMs me again and is all "Well, do you like Green Day?" and when I said "...uh. Yes." she was all "Do you like My Chemical Romance?" and I was all "...yeah, I guess" and she was all "Oh, good. They're my favorite band. I'm listening to them now." And I'm all "...yay?" and then she asked me what school I went to, and when I told her, she was all "...oh. You're in high school?" and when I said yes, she was all "I'm not. I'm in 6th grade." And then she started talking to me about how her sister is a freshman and is mean to her and always yells at her and makes fun of her.
Yeah. Bizarre.
Anyways. Somehow I have absolutely no homework tonight, so I've just been making icons all night. I felt like making Veronica Mars icons, but I had no specific like scene or episode that I wanted to make them of, so I've just been refreshing the main page at vm-caps and looking at the random images that come up. It's actually kind of cool, because I'll find really gorgeous caps that I would've never noticed before when going through all the episode caps, and now I've made a bunch of icons that I really like. I should really make an icon post soon.
I've noticed that I really just don't care about Lost anymore. I mean last season after the first 10 episodes I was like "OMG THIS SHOW IS PRETTY AWESOME" and then after that it just kind of... sunk. But even by the finale I was still like "Well, ok, Veronica Mars is 1000 times better, but I still really enjoy this. But this season... I don't know what's wrong. But, I mean, it's on right now, and I have no homework, no other responsibilities, and I'm choosing to make icons. I mean, seriously. All season I had to record it instead of watch it because of VM, and then once VM moved, I had APs and SATs to worry about. But that's all over, and I'm still like "...eh. I'll watch it tomorrow." It's weird, though, because I can't really pinpoint anything that I really dislike about it. Maybe it's the fact that it seems like there are only 5 characters living on the island these days (Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Locke, and Ana Lucia).
