Ugh this girl in my abnormal psych class annoys me SO MUCH because she keeps like... I don't even know how to describe it. Like, we'll be discussing something like asylums and how terrible they were and Bedlam and all that stuff and then she'll raise her hand and the professor will call on her and she'll start talking about how she has issues with asylums and in her medical anthropology class they discussed how terrible asylums were and it's like... THAT'S WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW. YOU'RE JUST REPEATING WHAT WAS ALREADY SAID. YOU AREN'T CONTRIBUTING ANYTHING. It's so annoying. I don't mind questions or like... helpful contributions, but this is just... saying the same stuff again. Except she talks really slowly and somehow manages to drag it out for like 5 minutes and ugh. And she keeps bringing up her medical anthropology class and it's like... if I wanted to know what you did in medical anthropology, I would take that class myself! gah.

Anyways, something on a positive note, taking my Drugs and Society test today was so cool. There were these scantron sheets for the multiple choice, except they weren't normal scantron sheets where you mark an answer in pencil and then it gets scored by a machine later. Instead, these were like... those scratch lotto cards where you scratch off an answer, it reveals a star if you're right and nothing if you're wrong. And if you're wrong the first time, you can keep scratching until you find the right answer. You get 1 point if you get it on the first try, half a point if you get it on the second, a quarter of a point if you get it on the third, and zero if it takes scratching off all four choices before you get the right answer. He said it wanted to be a learning device so you would see what you were getting right and what was wrong while you take the test and not a week later when you've forgotten everything. It was really cool (at least, in my opinion). And from that, I know that I got 45.25/50 on the multiple choice. Pretty good, considering I didn't end up actually studying for the test (I realized we could drop our lowest test score, so... I just kind of didn't study). The short answer was really easy, too, so I should be getting at least an A- on this test.

So this was going around like a month ago, but I feel like doing it now, so here we go: Icon Meme! )

I watched the two episodes of Torchwood and I'm going to post about them probably, but first I'm going to watch last night's episode of Eli Stone, the last two weeks of Lost, and the last three weeks of Supernatural (all of which I also may or may not post about).
