Yeah, I think it is a lack of self confidence for me. Once someone starts talking to me I know that they're actually interested in talking to me, but if they haven't said anything first, then I'll assume that they won't want to talk to me. I actually used to be a lot more outgoing. Don't know what changed, really. I have an ok number of friends, but there are only 3 or 4 whom I consider really good friends.
