BMX Vert
1. Jamie Bestwick - 95.00
2. Chad Kagy - 92.00
3. Kevin Robertson - 91.00
4. Dennis McCoy - 86.66
5. Jay Miron - 86.33
6. John Parker - 86.00
7. Dave Mirra - 85.33
8. Koji Kraft - 85.00
9. Jay Eggleston - 83.00
10. Tim Wood - 82.00

Jay Eggleston and Koji Kraft: Didn't show their runs. Blah. The X Games coverage is a million times better than the Gravity Games coverage, but I hate it when they omit runs. I remember these two from last year, too. Well, I don't remember Jay Eggleston very well, but I remember thinking Koji Kraft was pretty crazy. Oh well.

Tim Wood: He was all right. Didn't get nearly as much height as the other riders, though.

Dave Mirra: Aw, Dave Mirra's one of my favorite BMX riders. His first run was going so well, until that crash. Sucks that he wasn't able to do his second run because of the crash.

John Parker: His first run was pretty awesome, and he was doing great in the second as well, be he too crashed. I liked him, though. Don't remember him from before.

Jay Miron: Some crazy tricks, but another that crashed.

Dennis McCoy: I remember him from last year. Another that did well. Don't remember if he crashed or not.

Kevin Robertson: Another I remember. His runs were really awesome. Not as good as Jamie Betwick's or Chad Kagy's first, but still really great. Definitely deserved the bronze.

Chad Kagy: Wheee, I really liked him. His first run was really amazing.

Jamie Bestwick: Man, he's insane. What more is there really to say about him? That last run, even though he knew he had already gotten gold, was crazy. Those tricks at the end - geez. Insane. He and Dave Mirra are my favorites. Chad Kagy, too. They're all awesome. Jamie definitely went all out tonight, though. Triple barspin! Ah! Crazy!

Yeah, I don't really have much to say about BMX, usually. My favorite BMX rider is Ryan Nyquist, and he does the BMX dirt and park, not the vert. And even so, I mean, I like BMX a lot, but I'm not as insane about it as I am skateboarding or Moto X. So, I don't have as much to say about it. I just have fun watching it.

Moto X Best Trick
1. Jeremy Stenberg - 92.20
2. Travis Pastrana - 91.20
3. Nate Adams - 90.40
4. Kenny Bartram - 89.40
5. Ronnie Faisst - 86.40
6. Dustin Miller - 86.40
7. Nixey Danielson - 84.80
8. Ailo Gaup - 84.60
9. Beau Bamburg - 77.00
10. Chuck Carothers - 71.20

First off, no Brian Deegan? :( Brian Deegan's one of my favorites. I've loved him ever since the first X Games I watched, when he was the first to pull of the 360. That was insanity. Last year his performance was pretty disappointing, and I was hoping for him to go all out this year. Blah. He'll still be in the Step Up competition, but... I don't really care about that very much. That's one of my least favorite events. Also, hi, where's Mike Metzger? They may have mentioned it, but I was fastforwarding through like everything since I didn't get back till 7:15 and it started at 6:00. blah.

Nixey Danielson, Dustin Miller, and Ronnie Faisst: Didn't show any of their runs. gr.

Chuck Carothers: The Carolla last year was pretty kick-ass, but I would've been pissed if he'd won gold again with it. I mean, I know he's the only one to have ever done it and it's an insane trick, but I really dislike it when people win best trick competitions with the same trick they've used before. Like last year, I love Sandro Dias and all, but he won the Skate Vert Best Trick with a 900. I know very few people have done a 900, but it's been done. People have already won with that trick. I think something new that no one's ever done should be given a higher score than something that's already won. meh. That's just me.

Beau Bamburg: I don't remember if they showed both of his runs, but I do remember at least one where I think? he crashed. I could be wrong. I fail at remembering things.

Ailo Gaup: That... underflip thing was pretty cool. I was kind of disappointed it only got an 84.60.

Kenny Bartram: I have an irrational dislike for Kenny Bartram. I don't know why. But I really liked him today. First of all, his trick was new and crazy awesome. What made me like him even more, though, was when he got his score and everyone in the crowd was kind of booing, but he was just all "I'm happy with it!" I liked that. I think it did deserve a higher score, but oh well.

Nate Adams: I also have an irrational dislike for Nate Adams. Well, it's not really a dislike, it's just... his freestyle runs are always so technical, but I don't usually see any... I don't know. Style in them. And I didn't like that he did a 360 which has been done a good amount of times now and got a higher score than Kenny Bartram's crazy-ass backflip. Especially since his 360s weren't even the best I've seen.

Travis Pastrana: Travis Pastrana is my absolute favorite Moto X rider. I totally became smitten with him last year, with all the double backflip (OMG I HOPE HE DOES IT THIS X GAMES THAT WOULD BE CRAAAZY AWESOME) talk and the crash and everything. It would've been insane if he had pulled off that barspin backflip thing. The second trick he pulled off was crazy enough as it was. I love him. I hope he goes all out for the freestyle comp and gets gold.

Jeremy Stenberg: Twitch! I like him. That backflip he did was pretty insane. I don't know if it was better than Travis's, but it was pretty freaking awesome, so I'm satisfied with him getting the gold.

Tomorrow is the Skateboard Vert competition, and I'LL ACTUALLY BE THERE! Ah, this is so insane. According to ticketmaster, our seats have limited view, which sucks, but... I'm just excited to be there. I'll watch it on TV when I get home if I want to see all the stuff better.
