Sep. 19th, 2005 10:23 pmMonday night TV!
guh. I love this show so much. I'm so happy it got a third season.
George Michael/Maeby! :D There's nothing more I can say than that and start squeeing for hours.
GOB/Steve Holt! omg, I love the continuity on this show. There is nothing like it on any other show. Poor Steve Holt. And I loved the narrator during those bits. "I don't have a son-" "He does." / "Remember when I said he had a son? I wasn't kidding." Paraphrased horribly, but yeah. Too perfect. Steve Holt on the back of GOB's segway! Priceless.
GOB/Michael! I love their relationship. "Taste my sadness!" "I've made a huge tiny mistake." Oh, GOB, how I love you.
I noticed a severe lack of Buster in this episode! But "...and I left the tape of my snoring so you wouldn't know I was gone," totally made up for it. Even if he's only in the ep for a minute, a
I love Jessica Walters. How the hell did she not win? "That was Tom Cruise." "He said he was a... scientist." Hee!
lkasj oh god everything in this episode was gold. Even the narration was perfect: "You can see why he would want to go back to that."
All right, I guess I'll just end on, please let George Michael and Maeby finish the kiss! And have many, many more after it! I don't want George Michael's "It's never going to happen" come true. :(
I remember reading people's reviews over the summer that Kitchen Confidential was good, but not very... funny? Like it wasn't bad, it just wasn't overly comical. Didn't quite get it then, but I do after seeing it. I did like it, but I laughed out loud maybe once or twice.
I love Bradley Cooper, though, and Nicholas Brendan's always awesome, and John Francis Daly's all tall and everything! And yeah, I did like it, so I'll keep watching it.
Probably the worst out of the shows I watched tonight, but it wasn't too bad. I hate the typical sitcom feel, but I guess that's just because I've gotten used to the style of Arrested Development. Not a fan of the laugh track.
The acting and writing and so on could be better, but I do like the premise, it's only a half hour so it's not as much of a hassle to watch at like 10 PM after Prison Break, so I'll keep watching it. If the sitcom format drives me completely insane, then I can drop it.
For some reason I never have anything to say about Prison Break. Well, I guess that's true of most new shows I see. Not much to say until I get a better feel for the show. I am liking Prison Break, though. There are loads of flaws in it, but I don't really care because A) I know nothing about prisons, so I can't really nitpick it, B) it's keeping me entertained, and C) Wentworth Miller is really gorgeous.
It's been raining since late this afternoon. Even had a good amount of thunder and lighting. Totally crazy. I wonder if this will be another year like last year, where we had like... the second (or maybe we got up to first) most rain in this region since, like, ever. Well, since that sort of stuff started getting recorded. Whatever, I love the rain, so I'd be very pleased if that did happen.

I know, it's incredible. The writers are gods. And I always love the narrator. Yay, Ron Howard. Hee.

Date: 2005-09-20 09:37 pm (UTC)Prison Break really isn't that great, except I'm very happy just staring at Wentworth Miller because he is so fucking pretty. I could watch him knit all day.
