I was actually expecting to really dislike the new P&P and ended up enjoying it very much. They did change things, but there really wasn't anything they changed that was great enough to bother me. They captured the essence of the book very well, I thought.
And yeah, it was an absolutely beautiful movie. Heh, definitely nice to iconize.
