l;ajksd ugh! Today Seher and I were supposed to present our film project on Lawrence of Arabia. I divided up things on Tuesday, and the plan was that I did my half right after school, sent it to her, and she'd do her half and print everything. (And, btw, I gave myself the harder stuff to do because I hate group projects and never trust my partner unless it's someone I've worked with a lot before and am friends with, like Galaxy or Emma, and Seher has proved she can be trusted in groups anyways in the past.) So I sent my part yesterday at 5 PM, plenty of time to do hers. I even said in my e-mail "Call me if you have any problems or questions! I won't be home till 7 or 8 because of Symphony, but you can call me after that!" Well, she called me at 7 AM this morning, right as I was headed to school, to let me know that her computer malfunctioned.

WTF? WHY CALL ME NOW? WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO ABOUT IT? I mean, if she had called me last night, I could've done it all myself! I wouldn't have loved doing it, but I had the time, and I'd rather do that then not have anything to turn in. Anyways, I told her to get a note from her mom or dad explaining what happened (so he wouldn't think we totally made it up) and bring everything just in case. And then I went to Euro and explained to Mr. Ives, and the problem was (which I already knew) that all the spots are booked for presentations through the end of the year. He said, though, that we could just present what we had today and give him the rest tomorrow.

Well, guess what? Seher totally ditched 1st period. She wasn't sick at all (she came to school right after that). She just ditched, which made me look even worse because it made it seem to Mr. Ives that I was lying and really we just hadn't finished the project. UGH.

Luckily Mr. Ives managed to squeeze us in on a day when we have block schedule, but he said he doesn't like to do that, and he wasn't very happy. The one good thing I have to say about Seher, though, is that she talked to him and explained how it was all her problem, not mine, and he said he'd only take points off her grade, not mine.

But, a;lsdfj gah. I can totally understand her computer malfunctioning. She can't control that. BUT WHY DIDN'T SHE CALL ME?! And then, WHY DID SHE JUST DITCH 1ST PERIOD?! That just made everything worse! l;aksjd;lkj I wouldn't be pissed off about this as much if she had just told me last night, or if she had just come today. But she didn't, so now I'm pissed off as hell. blah.

Heh, I was starting to feel like I was irrationally angry, so thanks for saying that. :) It does really suck, but at least it's not going to affect my grade any. It just caused me undue amounts of stress.
