blah. This week hasn't been going as well as I hoped. The testing was fine, but I've been feeling really anti-social this week so I didn't do much with friends and it's just been kind of... I don't know. But it hasn't put be in a good mood. I'm hoping tomorrow is better. =/
Because of testing, though, I was able to get lots of reading done. Can someone remind me next time my mother gives me books she thinks I would like to actually read them? And not wait like 3 years? Because this always happens. My mother either gives me books for Christmas/my birthday or just because I ask her what books she would think I'd like, and then I don't read them for like 3 years, and then I finally do and I end up loving them. You think I'd learn to trust her judgement by now, right? But yeah, anyways, read The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin and Remake by Connie Willis, both of which I really enjoyed, and yesterday afternoon started A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth. Which, by the way, wasn't the best of ideas, since the book is like 1349 pages long (and I'm not using hyperbole there) and there is a lot of text on each page. But I'm enjoying it so far. I'm just never going to be able to finish it.
I felt that finale was really good, and it really pisses me off, because they go like all out for the finale and it's so good and it makes me all invested in Lost again and wanting to watch next season, but then the rest of the season is like crap. Why can't all the episodes be this good? Or at least, why can't they make me this invested in the show all year long? Maybe then I'd understand why it gets 20 billion viewers each week.
Um. Anyways. Right after I finished watching the episode, I went to my computer to check my friendslist before going to bed, and my computer started making these like bizarre noises. Which, if you saw last night's episode, you could understand that it might freak me out a bit. I didn't notice any planes crashed around my house the next morning, though, so it seems that all is well.
Oh, and ok. I haven't been liking Charlie like at all this season, but going into this episode I was kind of hoping we'd finally get something between Charlie and Claire. Because she had finally sort of started to warm up to him again, and such, and I was positive it wouldn't happen, but I was still kind of hoping, and then they kissed! Aw! So cute! I'm sorry, I can't help but love them together.
...yeah, the rest of my reaction to the episode was kind of "OMG WTF IS HAPPENING". Except the reason why the plane crash. I haven't seen anyone else's reactions, but am I the only one that was like "...uh... duh? Not surprising."? Because I kind of figured something like that way back at the beginning of the season, and then tonight when they started talking about electromagnetic whatever, it just kind of seemed... even more obvious. I was thinking it would be something way different. [shrug]
Uh. Shoes I ordered last week at Nordstrom finally came!

wheeee, I love them loads. New shoes are the best thing ever.
