Thursday night TV kicks every other night of TV's asses.

Oh, this killed me dead. Jim calling Pam cute and her subsequent grin! Pam watching Jim and Karen dance and looking heartbroken! Pam dancing with Roy! Jim saying he's glad he's with Karen!

This made me so sad, but I loved it all the same. And is it weird that I kind of feel sorry for Roy? Because yeah they left together and will probably kiss and makeout and possibly even sex (yes, this is a verb), but... Pam's so totally in love with Jim now, and she knows it too, and all the time she's with Roy she's going to be thinking about how much Jim hurt her. And here Roy is probably not even knowing what went down between the two of them on Casino Night, thinking that he's finally got Pam back, and... he's just going to be heartbroken himself once he realizes that Pam doesn't love him. I want to be mad at Roy, but I just can't help feeling so sorry for him. I just feel sorry for everyone.

I have a feeling this is the low point for Jim and Pam, though. After here, it can only get better, you know? (Unless Pam and Roy get engaged again. Or Jim and Karen. Oh god, this can totally get worse.) No, no, I do think that this episode served to show how much Pam is in love with Jim, and how him being with Karen is really affecting her.

...also, there might've been a wedding, or something else going on in this episode. But who cares about that? (Kidding. I loved Toby, and Dwight and Angela dancing, and just everything. But I kind of can't think about anything else but what's going on with Jim and Pam.)

Oh god I love this show. It's so completely over-the-top, but it totally works.

I love everything about the Alex/Alexis plot and the Meade family and Claire Meade being the one that killed Fey (even though I and probably everyone else on the planet called that about 700 episodes ago) and just oh man. The press conference duel was the best thing ever.

And I love Marc so ridiculously much. And Amanda. And Justin. Not so much Justin's dad, because even though I kind of understand what he's saying, I still completely disagree with it. And not so much Hilda, even though she was fine in this episode, but in a lot of episodes I come off really disliking her. But everyone else, oh I love them.

The Betty/Claire scenes at the spa were kind of the best ever. I loved Claire telling Betty to dump Walter, and them conspiring to get Alexis and Daniel to talk to each other.

And Henry! And Wicked!!! Oh, Betty, if a guy gets you tickets to Wicked (and spent enough time listening to you to know how much you'd love the tickets, and recognizes "Popular"!) and wants it to be a date, you don't say no. (I'm kind of crazy obsessive over Wicked. Also, I totally have the same shirt that Henry got Betty.) I'm so glad that they finally ended Walter and Betty. He was the only character on the show I truly just... hated every scene he was in. I don't really love Hilda as I already said, but there are definitely episodes I really like her in, and that's just not true for Walter. And oh, poor Betty! She finally dumps Walter and now Henry's going back with his girlfriend! a;lskjf ah but the promos for next week! I kind of can't wait.

I love this show.

So I watched this after Ugly Betty, and I thought that nothing could beat that, and then I watched this episode and omfg aslfkj I loved it.

Ryan said "I love you"! Multiple times! I was upset that it got all ruined with the talk of Berkeley and the dictionary, but I'm glad it was resolved at the end.

And then the earthquake! Gave me chills. Especially since I live like 10 minutes from Newport, and thinking that could happen here... gah. The ending montage absolutely killed me, with Ryan protecting Taylor and Seth protecting Summer and Sandy finding Kirsten under that stuff, and oh man.

Why are there only two episodes left? Why did this show have to get so good right as everyone decided to stop watching it, causing it to be canceled? I'm going to be a total mess in two weeks. :(

Supernatural was also kickass, but I don't really have anything to say about it other than that.

Anyways, yesterday I came home after Jazz Band before going to Andrew's house to hang out with some people, and when I got there I asked my mom if I could go and she was just like "What? Of course. You don't really have to ask. You're 18 now." And I was just like "...wha?" Because, yeah, I'm 18, but I thought my mom would be the type of mom who's like "As long as you're living under my roof, you're not an adult." So after a couple minutes of staring at her and wondering when exactly she had been abducted by aliens, I left and went to Andrews. Around 10 I called her to see what time she wanted me home, because usually she wants me home by midnight and she had been all... you can do whatever you want earlier, but I wasn't sure if that was just temporary insanity or she was actually serious. So I called and she was like "Eh, don't stay out too late" and I was like "...wtf?" and she was like "I'm going to bed at midnight. I guess try not to stay out much past 12:15ish?" Which is just... not at all her. And before it's not like she was ever... you're only 17, you have to be back by 12, it was more that she would worry about me and wouldn't be able to fall asleep if she knew I was out. But I guess now that I'm 18 she's no longer worried? It almost worked like reverse psychology, because I ended up getting home by 11:20 (well, that and I was giving Soan a ride and she wanted to go home. And I was tired). I mean, I'm very happy about this, trust me, but it's just kind of confusing me.

I had the same thing happen when I first came home from college.

With my little brother it's the exact opposite though, he comes home and has all kinds of curfews (mostly becase all he does is go out and drink).

Yay for Mom's loosening up.

I think I'd expect it more if it was next year and I was in college, but I still have 4-5 months more of senior year left, and I thought as long as I was still in high school she'd be more strict. But whatever, I'm not complaining at all. It just seems weird to me.

I know, I totally love The Office! I'm completely obsessed with it.

Aw, really? I totally love them both. Ugly Betty is completely over-the-top and kind of soap-opera-ish, but that's just part of why I love it. It's just such a fun show, and I love nearly all the characters. The O.C. was good in season 1, but I started really disliking it seasons 2 and 3 and almost gave it up, but then I watched it this season and it's about a million times better than the previous two seasons, and maybe even better than its first. I'm totally loving it this season, and I'm sad it's going to be canceled, but that's just me.

The press conference duel was the best thing ever.

It really was. I knew Daniel was going to start up his own press conference, and my favorite part was when Alexis through her shoe at him, LOL.

The O.C. is too good to be cancelled now. :( I loved hearing Ryan tell Taylor he loved her.

Oh, yeah, I totally loved when she threw her shoe at him! I cracked up so hard at that.

I know! I almost hate how awesome this season is because it just makes it suck so much more that it's canceled. I kind of wish it had been canceled last seasons or the during the second season back when I didn't care about it as much.

Awww, The Office. Yeah, I feel a little bad for Roy too. I love how The Office is so hysterically funny and just...ridiculous, but then there are these beautiful little Pam and Jim moments in the middle of all that!

I know, that's what really makes me love the show. I don't think I'd care as much about it if it was just really funny, but the wonderful Jim/Pam moments really draw me in. I probably wouldn't have kept watching after the first few episodes I saw if it weren't for their storyline.

I didn't think my mom would be like this. I mean on New Year's Eve I had to fight with her to let me stay at my friend's house past midnight because she didn't want me driving home past midnight, but I mean the entire point of hanging out on New Year's Eve is to stay past midnight. But then two week's later I turn 18 and I guess everything changes.

I loved The OC too, I think this final story arc is such a brilliant way for the show to end. It's nice to see a show have a little guts and not go for the sappy happy ending, simply because it's Orange County. I'm not sure that the show can end on a depressing note, so I'm going to assume that there will be something sufficiently uplifting that occurs in the finale, but I can't wait to see how these last two episodes unfold.

It does sort of bother me that the show is ending now that its writers have finally found their voice again...but what can you do? Sadly, most of its audience stopped watching because the show had the *audacity* to kill off Marissa lol...So yeah, I'm definitely going to miss it, but I'll always have my DVDs to remember the good times :)

I agree, I love the way the show is ending. I agree, I think good things will happen either in the next episode or in the finale so the show doesn't end completely depressing. I can't believe there are only two episodes left!

I'm glad that if it has to end, it's at least ending now when the show is getting really good again. Who knows if they had another season it would be as good? I'm definitely going to miss it, but you're right, there'll always be the DVDs.
