So, you know what's really fun? When the fire alarm goes off at 4:45 AM and you have to run out of your dorm in your pajamas in Minnesota in WINTER (well ok, technically not winter yet, but IT WAS RIDICULOUSLY COLD) and it starts SNOWING and you had gone to sleep early-ish so you could get up early-ish Sunday morning to study for your final that's Monday at 8 AM. Yeah. That was really, really awesome. Especially since there wasn't a fire, they just got set off because of some idiot smoking in their room (AND WHY WOULD YOU BE DOING THAT AT 4:45 AM GEEZ). I am so looking forward to being home on Wednesday where there are no fire alarms or being awakened in the middle of night. I'm so exhausted right now because I couldn't get back to sleep after that but I need to study for astronomy. gah.

That happened to me so many times when I was living on campus up in Plattsburgh, NY. The weather would be sub-freezing and we'd have to run out at 3, 4 am with whatever we could grab. The first time it happened, I was in *shorts* because my dorm room was so hot...after that, I learned my lesson. Don't sleep in shorts and a tank top during *winter* it's never a good idea lol. This has happened once before, but it was midnight and I hadn't gone to sleep yet, and it was also early October so not nearly as bad. I feel like I need to keep a jacket and warm pants out just in case so I can grab them quickly. Thanks! I only have one left to get through, thankfully, and then I'm done!
