My mom told me that there was a terrorist attack on London this morning. Some subway stations were hit and a double decker bus, I believe. That's really horrible. ...well, obviously. I don't really know what to say about it that doesn't sound completely stupid, but I wanted to mention it. =/ I don't know if anyone on my FL is from London, but I hope that if anyone is, they're all right, and anyone else they know who's there is all right as well. I guess there's really nothing else I can say but that.

Nothing to say about today. Nothing has happened, and besides, everything else feels kind of trivial after that.

When I signed on AIM I saw something about an attack on the AIM TODAY thing, but I kind of brushed it off. I didn't read that it was in London. I assumed it was in Iraq. (I never watch or read the news anymore, too depressing.) And then I read on LJ that it was in London, and I feel so terrible.

I wasn't online all morning, I was just watching music videos on Fuse, so I didn't hear about it until I was in the car with my mom. The radio was saying something about London and I wasn't really paying attention, but then all of a sudden my mom was all "Oh, did you hear about the bombings in London?" It was a serious shock, I'm still kind of surprised that it happened. I heard that there weren't many deaths, which is good, but it's still a horrible thing to happen, and of course any deaths at all from something like that is really horrible.

I know. I didn't think that anything would happen there. And if it is because they are helping the US in the war, then.. I feel so guilty. You know? Yeah. Only 37 died, it's bad, but it could have been worse. 700 are injured. I heard on the news that they are watching chatrooms to see if anyone is bragging about it or taking credit for it. I swear, if people actually brag about it.. my god. Are they sure it's an act of terrorism though? Could it have been an accident?

Yeah, I know, neither did I. And I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did have something to do with helping the US in the war, which yeah, would definitely make me feel guilty. Or at least, ashamed of the nation, or the government, or something. I believe there was some sort of... meeting or something of leaders there today, though, and I think it's been speculated that that's the reason for it. I didn't get the details, but I remember reading that earlier today. While 37 people dying is horrible, it definitely could've been worse. I don't know if they're sure that it's an act of terrorism, it just seemed assumed. But the attacks were in different areas, I believe, and I heard something about them believing they were coordinated attacks. So, I think it's pretty certain that it is. I could be wrong, though.

Oh. I didn't know that there was more than one. x_X That definitely sucks, and probably is an act of terrorism. Wow. Yeah the G8 meeting was going on today. It's from the 6-8. I don't know too terribly much about it, but I do know that they are talking about helping the poverty struck nations. I was listening to a man talk about what happened.. he was burned on his face it was terrible.. He said that people were trying to break the windows with their hands to get out, and he thought he was doing to die and so much other stuff. It's just so terrible.

Haha, okay I'll stop now. :X

Yeah, it was I think... three? bombings at subway stations and one on one of those double decker buses. Yeah, that was it. I don't know much about it either, but that's what I heard was the probable reason for it. And man, there really aren't words to describe how terrible that is.

Heh, it's ok. I love comments. :)

Atleast only 37 people died and 700 injured. I mean it's terrible that any did get hurt, but atleast it wasn't like 9/11. I didn't think terrorist attacks would still happen after 9/11, but I was definitely wrong. I just don't see how people want to cause that much pain.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. It's horrible that anyone at all died or even just got hurt, but it definitely could've been far worse, like 9/11 was. I still thought terrorist attacks would happen after 9/11, but... I don't know. It was still shock. I think I was just trying not to think about it too much. And plus, I figured if they'd happen, they'd happen in the US or even in Iraq. And I know, I really don't understand it either.
