Ah, so proud. The books are all nice and neat and everything! Now I just need to clean my desk, under my bed, my closet, and my dresser, which includes finding a place for the 100 something CDs I have that won't fit in my CD holder because it's already full.


Two days until the new Harry Potter! I'm getting kind of worried that mine won't come when I thought it would, though. =/ I mean, originally it said on the Barnes and Noble site that if you ordered it before a certain time, then it would come by Saturday, which I did. But I chose Standard Delivery because I didn't want to pay extra (meaning it comes in 3-8 business days), and I'm afraid that means it won't come until sometime next week. Man, that would really suck if that happened. I've been looking forward to it all week. Oh well. Just have to wait and see.

-sigh. I mean, I knew there was no chance that Veronica Mars would be nommed, but I still hoped against all hopes... I mean, I haven't seen Deadwood, Six Feet Under, 24, or The West Wing, so I can't speak about them, but I did watch all of the last season of Lost, and Veronica Mars was far better. I really like Lost, and I'll be rooting for them seeing as I've never watched any of the other shows, but still. Veronica Mars at least deserves a nom, if nothing else.

-Hugh Laurie! Yay! I know who I want to win in this category. Of course, this is another situation of me never having seen any of the others, save for Hank Azaria. But I only saw him when he guest starred on Friends way back when, and... that was a comedy, and not what he's nommed for. And Hugh Laurie really is a fabulous actor. I hope he wins.

-Damn. Another where I knew that Kristen Bell would never be nommed, but I still hoped for a miracle. I mean, in every single "Emmy Wishlist" I saw put out by people on various sites, Kristen Bell was there. Even if Veronica Mars wasn't, Kristen Bell was. She was the most voted for in that poll on TVGuide.com for who you thought should be voted best Drama Actress! sigh. No one to root for here, as I don't watch any of the shows.

So, yay for all the Arrested Development noms, as well as Hugh Laurie and the Lost noms. Boo to the total snubbing of Veronica Mars. And Gilmore Girls, for that matter.


Painting's all done. Just waiting for the paint fumes to go away before the birds can come back. My mom said that we should be able to get them late this afternoon, though, so yay! I'll post pictures of the newly painted rooms once the furniture's in the right place and the stuff is hanged back up on the walls and so on. Right now it just kind of looks like a jumbled mess.
