I had the most ridiculous math quiz of my life yesterday. I mean, I don't know. Not in terms of like... the stuff was impossible, but that it was impossible to expect us to get the problems done in half an hour. I barely got one done in half an hour. But the professor is incredibly fair, so he was walking around and saw that basically everyone was going to fail the quiz miserably, so he was like "Ok, take the quiz home and finish it in your groups and turn it in on Monday." So part of me is happy about that, but the other part is like... well, he's counting 10 quizzes and we can drop any quizzes past that, and this is our 12th, and right now the lowest quiz I'm dropping is an 18/20, so it seems pointless to me to really work hard on this quiz because I need to get at least a 19 and I'm not that confident that I'll get that.

But it also kind of sucked because, well, I mentioned the other day I was getting sick, and I still am. I still have a sore throat and I'm starting to get a runny nose and I felt kind of dizzy at several points yesterday. And I was really looking forward too to just having a night to myself, going to my room and watching a movie or reading a book or just sleeping so I can get better, but because of this quiz, I had to go meet with my group last night to work on it. It ended up being fine, though. I mean, I like the people in my group. But I still would have liked to have the night to myself. Oh well. We got all but one of them done, so at least there's that. We're meeting again tonight to do the last one.

I started watching True Blood yesterday. I'm kind of in love with it. I'm not really sure why I didn't start it at the beginning of the season. The premise sounded fascinating and like something I would really love. But then I think I saw people's reactions after the pilot and they were mixed so I was like "Whatever, I won't bother." But man, I totally love it. I just finished episode 6. I can't wait to finish getting through them. I should probably do homework, but whatever. I don't have that much to do this weekend, and I should be done with them before dinner. I'll probably do a bigger post about the show when I've finished it.

Thank you! It does feel good, but then it also makes me feel like I don't really need to bother in the class anymore even though I do because we do have a final, so I probably should still work hard in the class.
