Finished The Big Bang Theory yesterday afternoon!

I wasn't really expecting to like this show, but I really do. It's way funnier than I expected. Especially this season, so far, I've thought.

I mean, the show does have its flaws, don't get me wrong, and I don't like it nearly as much as I do How I Met Your Mother/The Office/etc., but I still really enjoy it.

I love the character of Sheldon. He's awesome, and Jim Parsons is so good. He's probably a large part of the reason why I've found season 2 so much funnier than season 1. And, yeah, I ship him with Penny. I don't know why! I know it's weird to ship Sheldon with anyone, but their scenes together are totally the best. I enjoy their dynamic too I think because he's the only one of the four guys who doesn't hit on Penny and lust over her and all that. I don't know, I enjoy them. I like them somehow becoming friends. They're just fun together.

I'm not a huge fan of Leonard. I don't hate him or anything, but I don't love him, either. He and Penny were kind of cute in the season 1 finale, actually, and I wouldn't be totally upset if they got together. I liked him with Sara Rue's character in the most recent episode, and I hope that goes on a little while.

Howard I mostly don't like. I get that his creepiness is supposed to be funny, but it's mostly just... creepy. I like Rajnesh and I find his inability to speak to girls unless intoxicated hilarious. I enjoy his character a good amount.

I don't really like Leslie (I don't know why, she just kind of bugs. I liked her in the first few episodes she was in, but this season she's just annoying), but I'm fine with her as long as they don't hook her up with Sheldon. I would be so upset if that happened. And unfortunately I'm afraid that's where they're going with the feud between her and Sheldon. I feel like if they do want to have Sheldon be in a relationship, it's going to be with her, and I hope I'm totally crazy, but I really think that's the case. =/ I mean, if they're not going to put Sheldon with Penny, that's fine (I really don't expect anything to ever come of them, as much as I hope it will), but please don't put him with Leslie instead.

Um, yeah. Other than that, I don't know. I guess it's apparent from this that Sheldon really makes the show for me. I wasn't sure when I started if I'd keep watching every week, but I'm pretty sure I will now. I wasn't expecting to get addicted at all to it, but I kind of did. I think it is a show that's better for marathoning than waiting week to week, and so that helped. But yeah, anyways, I really enjoyed it.


I'm sad that Pushing Daisies is basically canceled, but not devastated like with other shows (like even with other Bryan Fuller shows; I'm pretty sure I'm still not over Wonderfalls being canceled). Twenty-two episodes (I believe that's the total number of episodes from last season and this season, including those that haven't aired yet but will) is more than a lot of shows get. It definitely deserves more, though. It also sucks that the last episode is going to be a cliffhanger of some sort, but I'm glad that Bryan Fuller is already saying that he's planning on wrapping up the story in comic books and has the proposal for a movie written up.

But geez, I need something to watch on Wednesday nights now! I have 6 shows on Monday nights (two are half-hours, though, so I guess only 5 hours of shows), 3 on Tuesdays (not counting Greek. Not sure when that's coming back, though. Please tell me it's going to be earlier than June, though. I don't think I can wait that long), and 4 on Thursdays. I even have 3 on Sundays now! (Although this week is the finale of True Blood, so it'll go back to 2. But still!) Where's the quality Wednesday night TV?

I have been an epic fail at being a good student this week, what with getting obsessed with True Blood and then getting addicted to The Big Bang Theory. I'm going to try to actually accomplish things this weekend (although I say that every week, and I never actually do). I think I need to go to the library because I actually get work done when I'm there. When I stay in my room, nothing ever gets accomplished. But if I don't want to be studying for two tests and writing two reports and two reaction papers during Thanksgiving break, I really need to get at least some stuff done this weekend.

I love Big Bang Theory, and Sheldon is the reason for me too :D I love him so much. I never stop cracking up laughing while watching it.

I know! I was surprised that I ended up pretty much spending every episode cracking up. It's a much funnier show than I thought it would be. And yeah, Sheldon is amazing. I definitely wouldn't be as interested in it if it weren't for him.

I'm pretty sad about Pushing Daisies too, but I definitely don't love it like I've love Bryan Fuller's old shows. As much as I love, LOVE Lee Pace and Anna Friel and Kristen Chenoweth, it doesn't break my heart that it's over. If it gets wrapped up then I feel like it kind of doesn't need to be any longer than two seasons (or I guess what amounts to one full season). I just want them to be able to touch at the end :)

Oh yeah, I'm the same way. I actually feel kind of bad that I don't feel worse about it being canceled, since so many people on my flist are really upset about it. And I did like the show, but I just never connected to it as much as I thought I would. I definitely connected to Wonderfalls more. The thing I'm most concerned about is it not getting wrapped up in the end. And I would love it if they could finally touch in the end.
