They are evil. The last one I had had was when I was 10. That was also the worst shot I ever got, seeing as the guy giving it to me somehow managed to bruise my arm before even actually sticking the needle into it. It was like "um OW. OW!" Double the pain. Blah.
I want one too. And a dog. But I already have 4 birds, so I suppose that's enough. At least I'll be able to play with the cats (and at some point, the dogs) at the shelter. That's why I'll probably continue to volunteer even after I've finished my hours. Besides, more hours=better college apps.
