Well, I talked to my parents about the whole housing situation for next year thing, and I've decided not to do the room draw on Tuesday. Which means that I'm officially going to be living off-campus next semester. It's exciting to think about, but I'm still stressed out about finding somewhere to live. I guess I'll just try to look for a place, and then when my parents come up in May when the semester is over, we can look some more.

I totally just found out that Jim Parsons (Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory) turned 36 last week. He so does not look anywhere near that old. I would have guessed late 20s. Then again, I'm terrible at guessing people's ages. But still, he does not look 36 to me.

I did end up starting my How I Met Your Mother DVDs last night. I'm already through most of Season 1. I'm justifying it to myself because I'm pretty sure I did a lot more work last night than I would have done without watching them. Anyways, I have some random thoughts on the episodes I've watched so far.
First thing, since I just watched the episode, I TOTALLY forgot about Marshall being awesome at all games in Game Night and winning them all and then saying the name of whatever the game just was ("POKER!"), because the whole "BRIDGE!" thing in The Front Porch is totally a callback to this episode but I completely forgot about this episode.

Also, I was kind of curious about if I'd like the first couple episodes more than I did the first and second times I watched them, but I still don't enjoy them that much. Like, I think I enjoy them more, but they really aren't that great. I think where I really start liking the show is Matchmaker, and the episode where I fall in love with the show is Zip, Zip, Zip. It's weird, though, because I'm 99% sure I watched Matchmaker when it first aired, but then I quit watching right after that even though I liked that episode a lot. But yeah, even though I adore Barney now, for the first 5 or so episodes of season 1, he's just kind of eh. He doesn't annoy me like he did when I first started watching the show, but he's very one-note. Zip, Zip, Zip is where I really fall in love with him, too. I absolutely love when Robin asks him if he's going to tell Ted about it, how he looks at her and says "No." It's like the first time you really see another level to him, or the first time he's ever really serious.

I am finding, however, that I like Robin a lot more this time around. I have no idea why. It's not like I disliked her before, but I was just kind of eh about her. But for some reason now I'm finding her really awesome. I still like her more as the seasons go on, though.

Robin Robin Robin is AWESOME!

And Jim Parsons is 36? Bloody hell, he looks so young!

Good luck finding a place to live *crosses fingers*

I know! I don't know why I didn't see it before, but I really love her!

Seriously, I would have been surprised to hear he was 30, let alone 36!

Thank you! I'm kind of worried about it, but I'm trying to remain optimistic.
