Mar. 10th, 2008 12:04 pmSo, I'm eating dinner in the Campus Center last night, and Michael Jackson comes on AGAIN and people groan, and then I hear this:
Random guy: Why does everyone hate Michael Jackson? Because he's a pedophile? Lots of people are pedophiles!
...right. And I'm not fans of any of them, either. Seriously, just... I couldn't believe I actually heard that. I want to believe that he was being sarcastic and I don't know him and don't understand his sense of humor, or something, but then he went on to say "You know, there are a lot of great MJs. Michael Jackson. Michael Jordan. Michael Johnson." (By Michael Johnson, I'm pretty sure he meant Magic Johnson, because he said that he was a really good basket ball player for the Lakers who got HIV. And his real name is actually Earvin Johnson, but whatever.) So it didn't seem like he was joking. Just... what? Who says that?

This sounds so warm to me, you have no idea) and I'll be able to go outside for long periods of time and not freeze to death, so I figured I'd give one last reminder now.
