Heh. After transcribing that, I realize I say "so, yeah" a lot. I'm surprised I didn't say "like" or "totally" any more than I did. I'm a total southern CA girl (lived here all my life, so that's to be expected), and I tend to use words like "like" and "totally" a lot, but I somehow imagined to avoid it. I said "more stupider", though. The grammar police inside my head is cringing right now.

Aw, I love your voice! And I did the same thing when I did my first phone post--I must have gone through about 5 before I finally did one that I thought was semi-decent. Hee.

Aw, thank you! :) I had no idea what to say each time I tried to make one, so I kept just ending up talking about things that made absolutely no sense and sounding stupid and ending each one. And even this one I'm not incredibly satisfied with, but I realized after I finished it that it was about as good as I was going to get it, and I was being ridiculous and no one else would probably think it's as bad as I do. So. Yes.

Paid accounts are so freaking awesome. I've had mine for like 6 hours, and I already don't want to go back to a free account ever again.

I already can't imagine not having more than 3 spaces for icons. I haven't even used many of the features, and I don't want to go back to having a free account. It's ok, though, because it's actually a decent price, so I can probably afford to continue to have one.

Hee, yeah. After the 5th time or so I just said "fuck it" and pressed the pound button, or whatever the heck you're supposed to press, and finally posted it.

Psh, tell me about it. Every time I get an email saying that my paid account is about to expire, I don't waste anytime getting the credit card and renewing. I don't even have to consider it. Heh. :)

Ooh, polls and mood themes! I totally forgot about those. Icons were first in my mind, and then the layouts (so sick of Generator). I think at one point I remembered I could have a mood theme, but I totally forgot about being able to make polls. How fun. Ah, this is going to be so awesome.

Each time I started, I'd end up saying "...what the hell am I even talking about anymore?" and pressing the buttons to rerecord. It became automatic just to redo it again and again. It was odd pressing the button to post it rather than doing it over again.

Yeah, there's no chance that I'm going back to a free account. As long as I have enough money, at least. But it is really cheap, and now that I know my mom will let me use her credit card to pay for it, there's no reason for me not to continue to have a paid account.

I know! My voice always sounds different after it's being recorded. At least to me. And... I don't know. I sound different when I'm kind of babbling on without any idea of what to say than when I'm having a conversation with someone.

It is. I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to customize this. This is the default look. I will have this figured out, though, eventually!

Heh, I do. I was having trouble with customizing Opal. ...of course now, I realize what I was doing wrong, because I was doing the same thing wrong when trying to get a header up here (WHICH I FINALLY MANAGED. BOOYA!). I may go back and try Opal again.

This will be a lot more fun once I get the hang of it, like I did with generator and the overrides. Right now it is a pain. BUT I WILL NOT SLEEP UNTIL I GET THIS FINISHED.

Heh, yes, I brought it back the second after I commented. Customizing this layout is so freaking haaaard. And very, very tedious. sigh. AND I HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET THE WIDTH OF THE LJ TO MATCH THE HEADER YET. It bothers me.

Heh, yeah, I don't even really notice it when I talk, unless I'm consciously thinking about it. Like, I remember once one of my friends told me that she said "like" too much and she was going to stop it, and my friend and I were telling her that she doesn't use it that much and she shouldn't worry about it, but we couldn't stop saying "like" when we were talking and we kept ending up cracking up whenever we tried to say anything because of the constant "like"'s. I don't think I say "totally" as much when I'm speaking, actually, but I notice it all the time when I'm making LJ posts.

Thanks! It's so weird actually making it, because it's like leaving a message on an answering machine, but... you don't really have a message to leave. You should do one, it'd be cool to hear what your voice sounds like. :)

You can only do it if you have a paid account. There's this thing where you enter your phone number and a like... number so that you can later verify that you are who you say you are. Then you call the number of the nearest LJ place to you and it'll ask you for your phone number and the verification number. Then it'll tell you to record your message, and when you're done post the # sign. After that, you can press 1 to listen to your message, 2 to record it again, 3 to have it be posted publicly, 4 for a friends-locked post, and 5 for a private post.

No, I had to transcribe it myself. All it does is post the recording. Like, if you click on the phone post link thing you'll download a thing and then you can hear me saying the written stuff there.
