Why is Hayley not gone? sigh. I feel like this is in large part due to VFTW. Janell was not good, but definitely not the worst, and I really liked her very first audition, so I was hoping she'd come back and do better next week. But I don't care that much. I saw more potential in her than Hayley, though. (btw I think it's really stupid that after they get kicked off, they have to sing the song that got them kicked off. It'd be nice if they could sing anything. I wish it was like SYTYCD 30 second dance things they do before the judges decide who goes. I mean, I realize that's not the same situation, as they're like... dancing for their shot to stay in the competition, but it'd be cool if they had a performance like... prepared, I guess. That was reviewed by the judges so it would actually be somewhat decent.)

ALLISONNNNN!!! Oh man that's how it's done. And I'm so happy she did Scars instead of, like, Friday I'll Be Over You. Can Allison just come and perform every week? That would be better.

Ugh, Paige is staying? She wasn't as terrible as Hayley, but still. Between Ashley and Didi, it so better be Ashley going. Ok good, Ashley's gone. Ashley was definitely one of the worst performances, while Didi was decent. I'm cool with these results. While I wish Hayley were going, I'm not going to miss either Ashley or Janell.

Oh crap seriously? I guess I should have expected Joe would get sent home. That's so lame, though, because he was honestly one of the top 3 performances. I wanted Tim to stick around because I do think he has potential and Apologize was just a terrible song choice, but between the two of them, Tim should have gone home because he was so much worse. I suppose I don't care that much, though, because I would never buy anything of his, and I suspect that him being good was more in comparison to everyone else sucking so hard. But Tim better seriously step it up next week to make up for him staying instead of Joe (I mean, ok, the way they arrange it does not necessarily mean Tim would have been like the 3rd person to go

YAY KRIS COMING BACK OMG. Like Allison, he can so show them how it's done. And oh man, that was absolutely gorgeous and amazing. He sounded so good, and it was just wonderful.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? JERMAINE ISN'T OUT? lkajsf Why aren't the two worst performers so far out of the freaking competition? First Hayley, now him? ugh. And I know Tim was VFTW's pick and not Jermaine, so HOW DID HE GET THROUGH. HE WAS SO. BAD. UGH. Wait seriously, it's between Alex and Tyler? laksjdf I didn't think either was amazing, but both have more potential than Jermaine or Aaron. ugh. America fails. And wow, I can't believe Tyler is out. I thought for sure he would make top 12. wow. I mean, it wasn't very good, but he also was far from the worst. Oh well.

Overall, the girls I'm totally fine with, and the boys I'm still totally puzzling over. Neither were like... absolute favorites of mine, so I'm not really going to care by tomorrow. Really, all I'm taking away from this is that Allison and Kris are amazing and put all these girls and guys to shame, and really they should just bring them and Adam and some other past contestants (Kelly! She's the only Idol not from season 8 who I actually listen to) to perform every week. They could have, like, American Idol All Stars or something! That would be much better than this week. Hopefully they'll step it up next week after realizing how much they failed this week.


I'm done with all my major assignments for tomorrow, thankfully. Some of them were a pain in the ass to get through. Now I just need to study some more for the exam. I will be so happy when it's tomorrow afternoon and this week is over. I'm so burnt out from school right now, and I'm starting to get really overwhelmed with how much I have to do. Although maybe if I didn't prioritize watching the Olympics and AI over doing homework and studying, I wouldn't be quite so overwhelmed.
