I think that's definitely true. I like the angst and dark stuff, but I wouldn't want the show to be like that all the time (or even half the time). I liked the one special, The Waters of Mars, I think it was called, and that was kind of dark, but the rest were rather blah. I'm loving how fun and light Eleven is (thus far), and I'm looking forward to the show being not so dark and gloomy.
