Ok, so I haven't seen very many movies and I haven't loved very many movies (like pretty much every one I see, just don't love many) and I'm in a very movie-watching mood, so rec me some movies to see. Don't worry about if I've seen them or not, as I really haven't seen many. Just reccomend any movies that you love and think I should watch. Only thing I won't see: horror. I'm a baby. The night I saw What Lies Beneath, I had a sleepover with a friend at my house and I got so freaked that I ended up crawling into my parent's bed and falling asleep there. Granted, I was like 11, but still. I don't do horror. It's ok if it has some horror-y bits, I suppose, and it can be like... creepy and weird and fucked up and such, just... not flat-out horror, because I am a wimp.

Mrs. Bentley is coming over to my house on Tuesday at 3 pm to work on the website with me. And the software is on my computer, so that means she has to come into my room. uh. Major weirdness. Not looking forward to that very much.

Veronica Mars
Veronica/Logan: I've liked them from The Wrath of Con. Unlike a lot of people I saw, I didn't hate Logan in the first episode. Yeah, he was an ass, but the flashback Veronica has with Logan confronting her about Lilly's death and her dad going after the Kane's got to me. I don't know, I just... got that Logan was dealing with a lot of pain, just like Veronica. So, when in TWoC, Logan started showing sides of himself that weren't him being a total asshole, I just really fell in love with the idea of them together. I think Ruskie Business was the episode where they became my OTP for the show, but I had liked them for awhile before that. Needless to say, I freaked out when they kissed in Weapons of Class Destruction. I thought that there was a possibility for them getting together in future seasons, but I never imagined that they'd kiss in the first season. I realize that they're not the absolute perfect couple and they're both horribly messed up, but... that just makes them all the more appealing to me.

Veronica/Duncan: I think Duncan was the perfect first boyfriend for Veronica. He was sweet and stable and perfect for innocent Veronica. But now, he's totally wrong for her. Veronica's changed in a lot of ways, and Duncan actually has too. Even if Logan wouldn't be the perfect boyfriend and their relationship would be totally fucked up, I think Logan actually fits with post-Lilly's death!Veronica a lot better. However, I do think that they should go out again. I think they need to date just for a little while now that they know they're not siblings just so they can realize that the relationship is no longer right for them and it can be put to rest. Otherwise, I feel like... it'll always be kind of... looming there.

Queer as Folk
Brian/Justin: I really disliked Justin in the first episode. I actually started shipping Brian/Michael. But as the first season went on, Justin started being less annoying and I warmed up to them. By the finale, I was a total Brian/Justin shipper, and I've been that way ever since. I don't know what to say about them, I just really adore them together.

Dead Like Me
George/Mason: I adored them together from the start. I don't know why, but... they just seemed good together. So, yeah, wasn't a huge fan of Mason/Daisy later in the show. I really was hoping they'd get together by the end of the second season, so I was sad when it didn't happen. Still, I loved all the scenes they had together.

Angel
Cordelia/Angel: Not a fan. I adored Cordelia in seasons 1 and 2 (especially 1), and I really loved the friendship between them. I wish they had left them just being friends, no Angel being in love with Cordelia. I will admit, though, that I did like them in Cordelia's last episode. All of their interactions were really sweet and I actually did enjoy their kiss, but that was the only episode I ever liked them together as more than friends. I wouldn't have wanted that to continue if Cordelia hadn't been dead and all, and I think part of my liking of them in the episode was knowing that it was Cordy's last and that she was dead. So. Yeah.

Fred/Wesley: I honestly didn't have much of an opinion of them, or of Fred/Gunn. I thought Fred/Gunn was really sweet during the third season, but I wasn't totally devastated when they broke up, and I didn't care if Fred got together with Wesley or not. I do think that Fred and Wesley fit together better than Fred and Gunn, though. And I did feel horrible for Wesley during... the episode that I forget the name of now and it's totally bugging me because I should know this, but it's the one where Fred and Gunn kiss for the first time. So, yeah.

Buffy
Willow/Spike: Heh. Willow/Spike is actually my unconventional ship OTP for Buffy. I read this fic with a W/S pairing I think... summer before 8th grade, and it was just so well-written and convincing, that I fell in love with the ship. It seems weird if you've never really entertained the idea of them together (and maybe even if you have), but after all the W/S fics I've read now, they just... I don't know. They can really work together. So yeah, I do like them together. ...actually, I kind of ship everyone with Willow. But, um, well, Willow/Spike is at the top of that list (for UC ships. I like Willow/Oz more).

Buffy/Spike: The first episode of Buffy I watched was What is My Line Pt. 1. I was like in... 3rd grade. I didn't follow Buffy very closely after that, but I did see episodes occasionally, and I started watching more in season 4. I watched every single episode of season 5. Anyways, this is just to show that... my first run through Buffy, I wasn't very into it. I liked it, but... I didn't follow it closely. So, when Spike started lusting over Buffy, I didn't really care. I was kind of happy, even, when they kissed in OMWF. After that, though, I went through and started watching all the episodes from the start, and I fell in love with B/A and season 2 and all that stuff. So, when I got back around to Buffy and Spike getting together, I hated it. A large part of that was really because after season 4, I stopped liking Spike. I loved when he was all bad-ass, and even when he got his chip, he was still like... I don't know. But once he started liking Buffy, he just became totally whipped and annoying and I stopped liking him. So, for awhile, I was completely anti-B/S. Hated them. But as I went through the seasons over and over, the hate lessened. I saw more appealing aspects of the relationship. I actually think I would've liked them if it had been executed better. I still don't like the pairing much (I don't think I'll ever be able to get over Spike attempting to rape Buffy), but... I don't know. I can tolerate it a lot better now, and I'm fine with other people who like the pairing. So, now, my opinion of the pairing is basically, to each his own.

Buffy/Riley: I think in theory it's a good idea. Buffy needed a nice, normal, stable boyfriend after Angel. But Riley was boring, and then he was annoying, and then I hated him after he started willingly allowing vampires to suck his blood. So, yeah. Not a fan. I used to absolutely despise the pairing, and I still hate them (far more than Buffy/Spike), but not as much. I did like Riley when he came back during season 6 for that one episode, but in all the others, I hate him. Glad it ended between them.

Everwood
Bright/Hannah: Oh, man. I love them together. When I was first reading spoilers for season 3 of Everwood, I thought I'd hate Hannah. Of course, that was mostly because it seemed like she served solely to get between Amy and Ephram. When it turned out that that wasn't the case, I warmed up to her, and as the season progressed, I quickly fell in love with her. Her interaction with Bright was my favorite part of the season. When they kissed, I was just... so fucking happy and giddy and... yeah. I love them. I can't wait until season 4 to see what happens with them.

Andy/Nina: I loved them together during the first season. Actually, I loved them all the way up to the beginning of the third season, but especially during the first season. Nina was such a wonderful friend to Andy and so good to Ephram and Delia. I thought they'd make a really good couple. I was annoyed when Jake started to flirt with Nina and ask her out. However, as time went on, I started really liking Jake and when they first kissed, I squeed. Andy, however, I began to like less and less. So, when Andy and Nina kissed in the finale, I was angry. I really don't like them together anymore. I used to think they'd be good together, but I don't think Andy deserves Nina anymore. I really hope they don't get together in season 4.

Gilmore Girls
Rory/Jess: Um, I was never really a fan of Rory/Jess. Please don't hurt me. I'm not a Rory/Dean shipper, either, though. I mean, I loved them in season 1, but once season 2 started, my love for them ended. I did like Jess all right throughout season 2 and even liked the kiss in the season 2 finale, but I haven't liked him since. I don't like Rory much these days, either, though.

The O.C.
Seth/Summer: They were my very first ship on The O.C. I loved Seth from the start (this love disappeared during the second season, though), so I wanted him to be happy, which meant I wanted him to get together with Summer. I really loved their relationship during the first season. I wasn't a huge fan of Anna (though I did warm up to her by her last few episodes. And I must say, I greatly prefer Anna to the new characters they introduced in the second season) and I really disliked the Seth/Anna/Summer triangle, but I loved pretty much everything else involving Seth/Summer during that season. The Zach/Seth/Summer triangle was absolutely horrible, though, and dragged on way too long, and made me dislike both Zach and Seth, and even my love for Summer waned. So, yeah, not as huge of a fan anymore. But I do still like them together.

House
House/Wilson and general shipping in House: Well, I was asked my preference of ships in House, and Wilson/House is it. I really can't see House with anyone else. That doesn't mean I think it'll happen, but it honestly makes the most sense to me. Wilson is the only person House will ever let in, will ever show more than his sarcastic side. As for shipping in general... I don't know what to say. It's not really a show I got into for the ships. I'm fine with ships happening (um, just not House/Cameron. Hated that.), it's just... not my focus, I guess. ...I really do love House/Wilson, though.

House/Cameron: No. Bad. I had liked Cameron up until the point she started asking House how he felt about her and bargaining with him to go out with her. I don't know what it is I don't like about it, it just feels... completely wrong to me. Cameron's just not right for House. Yeah, she can put up with his shit and see beneath his exterior, but... that just seems to me like she'd make a better friend in the long run. And, I mean, he is her boss. It's just kind of... creepy, almost. I don't know. I really can't put it into words other than saying that she's totally wrong for him, and while she understands him, she doesn't understand him. If that makes absolutely any sense at all. It does in my head, but I don't think it will to anybody else. Anyways, I was very happy that nothing ended up happening between them. I hope it stays that way.

For Fred/Wesley, I've seen a number of people who really hate Wesley and like Fred/Gunn a bunch, but I've actually seen way more that love Fred/Wesley. For me, either is fine, really. And actually, I don't know all their stories, either. I know some stuff happened in season 5 between them, but I have only watched about half of the season 5 episodes (I gave it up for The O.C.'s first season). Haven't seen all of season 4, either. So my opinion of them might change once I get around to seeing all the episodes.

Yeah, James Marsters really does have chemistry with just about everyone. I used to be more adamantly against certain pairings, but now I'm only really against Buffy/Riley and Willow/Kennedy. The rest I can deal with.

Heh, that's cool. I was into Jess at first, but now, not so much. I haven't seen season 2 and 3 of Gilmore Girls in a long time, though, so that can always change. I think with everything that happened between Dean and Rory during seasons 4 and 5, I like Jess/Rory more than Dean/Rory, but I really don't think she should be with either of them. Of course, I'm not really much of a fan of Rory these days, so it's hard to have a favorite pairing that includes her.

Ah, yay for movies! Beauty and the Beast was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. I haven't seen it in forever. I should really try to see it again. Ooh, and Drive Me Crazy was my favorite movie when I was... 9 or 10. I think I have it on VHS, actually. I didn't even know Rob Thomas wrote it until recently (of course, that wouldn't have really meant anything to me until seeing Veronica Mars). That's a total guilty pleasure for me, too. I'll be sure to check out all of the movies. :)
