Sep. 6th, 2005 11:25 pmI ended up going to the Ruby's night anyways. After rehearsal, I went to Andrew's and hung out there with Andrew, Justin, Emma, Richard, and Jessica. We played DDR, Cranium, and watched most of Sin City. Then around 6:45, Richard's mom took us to Ruby's. It was pretty fun.
I finished How the Irish Saved Civilization tonight, but I have absolutely no idea what happened. Except, Rome fell, and it was due to either internal or external influences (like, hi, way to narrow it down, guys), and the Irish saved civilization by copying classic literature and shit and distributing it. We better not have to write an essay on this, or I am screwed. I'm planning to reread it tomorrow, though. Tomorrow I just have a meeting with my college counselor and another swallowing therapy session, so I should have time to reread it. At the very least, I can reread the beginning. I think I remember the end better than the first few chapters.
I also finished the last three episodes of Freaks and Geeks. Hee. Bill is such a stud. I'm sad that I've gone through them all, but yay, now I get to move on to the commentaries! Awesome.

Write 20 random facts about yourself then tag the same amount of people as minutes it takes you to write the facts.
1) I'm an only child.
2) I've had to wear glasses since I was 6 years old. My vision sucks. I've been wearing contacts since... 5th grade, I believe.
3) I got my ears pierced when I was... 11 or 12. I think 11.
4) I hate airplanes. I get horribly airsick. Last time I went on an airplane, I went to Switzerland, and I threw up 14 times. Not fun.
5) I've loved reading since I was a kid, but school interferes too much for me to read as much as I'd like. When I was still in elementary school, my mom would take me to Barnes and Noble or Borders or whatever and let me get 5 books once a month. It was the best thing ever (...except I'd finish them within one weekend. Heh).
6) I've been to 14 concerts. My first was at the end of 8th grade, Good Charlotte/New Found Glory/MXPX/The Movielife and Bren Events Center (in UCI). I went with Tiffany, Sarah, and Tina, and we stood up on the seats on the side to see and we were like 15 ft away and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Didn't go moshing until my second concert (Warped Tour 2003), but yeah. It was pretty awesome at the time.
7) Math and French are my favorite subjects in school. I like English and history well enough, too. Science is my subject of doom, though. I think this is mostly due to me not having a decent science teacher since the 4th grade.
8) I want to live in France for a year when I'm older. I think it'd be really awesome, and I really like French and the country itself, and yeah.
9) I ramble.
10) I couldn't breathe through my nose or smell at all when I was really young. Around when I was 6, it started to get better. To this day, I still breathe through both my mouth and my nose, though, because if I only breathe through my nose, then I start to feel like I need to yawn and I need more oxygen pretty quickly. I also can like... turn my sense of smell on and off, which is helpful sometimes. My sense of smell isn't very strong, but it varies.
11) Even the smallest gestures mean a lot to me.
12) I suck at making friends and getting to know people better.
13) I'm an introvert.
14) I really like drawing/painting/etc., and I'm not too bad at it, either, but I'm not good enough to really pursue it, and I don't have enough time to do it just for fun.
15) I worry and obsess over every little thing. It gets very annoying sometimes.
16) I'm a really picky eater.
17) On Friday I will finally legally be able to drive other people my own age. ...not that I've really been abiding by that through these 6 months, but still.
18) I hate calling people. I'm fine when other people call me and talking on the phone with other people, but I just hate calling other people. I don't know why.
19) I'm 1/4 Canadian. I find that really cool, for some reason.
20) I am completely addicted to caffeine
Not tagging anyone because I didn't keep track of how long this took me, but it was about an hour, I think, and... 60 people is far too many to tag. So just do it if you feel like it.

Date: 2005-09-11 03:10 am (UTC)You got your ears pierced at age 12? I always find it funny when people say they got their ears pierced at an older age because people in my family usually get their ears pierced as infants. lol, some people find that weird I guess. I got my ears pierced at 11 months.
I've always loved science class! Except Chemistry. Ugh. I bombed that class so badly. I was more into Biology and stuff. I could actually manage a good grade in that class.

That's so freakin' cool. I wish I could do that. lol.
Dude, I used to be addicted to caffeine too. That was until I discovered the miracle of sleep. :p
