1. AP Euro - Mr. Ives. Eh, it seems kind of like my AP US class last year. Lot of the same people, too. bleh. Seher's in my class, but... that's kind of it. Well, so is Claire and Melissa Wong, but I'm not really close friends with them anymore. The classwork seems like it'll be like AP US last year, except we'll have actual homework. It'll be ok, though, I think.

2. Honors Chem - Ms. Bunch. Ah, I love this class! I have it with Rui, Jonathan Bonilla, and Jane. Oh, and also Vanessa Danziger. I'm not great friends with her, but I've known her since elementary school, and I got to know her better last year in French. She nicknamed me The Machine for my French skills. I'm actually not that close with Rui and Bonilla (or Jane actually), but like... I don't know. They made it feel like I was better friends with them. It was really fun. Plus, I really like the teacher. Ah, I haven't liked any of my science teachers since 4th grade! I'm so excited about this class now. It helps that chemistry is my favorite science subject, whereas last year all we did was biology, and I suck at biology.

3. Honors Pre-Calc - Mrs. Hudgins. I have this with Michele Wong and some other people I kind of know (like Candice Winters). She seems kind of... flighty. I don't know. It was all right, I didn't hate her or anything, but blah. I really wanted Mrs. Kurdziel. Oh well. I'll deal. For now, it's all right.

4. French 4 - Mme. DeBerry. sigh. Don't like this teacher, but she's the only French 4 teacher. This class is combined with AP French, which is very odd. I got my book in class, though, so I no longer have to worry about that. I don't think this class will be much fun, but the people in the class will be good: Galaxy, Deena, Matt Chen, Kimberly Kim, etc. All the people who take French, really, as there's only one class for French past French 3. So yeah, the people in the class will be fun, but the actual class... not so much. All tests are open book, though, which is one plus.

Ah, we had a Pep Rally between 4th and 5th today. The juniors this year are a lot better than they were last year, when they were sophomores (...that was just embarrassing). They're still not that great, though. I like their outfits, though.

5. Honors English 3 - Mrs. Moore. Yes! No Buckner! :D She reminds me a lot of Mrs. King (last year English teacher), which isn't very surprising, as they're best friends. No essay on any of the summer reading books! Awesome! Unfortunately, we do have to take 3 tests tomorrow on them all. I'll probably do really poorly on the one for Irish (and the one for Jane, for that matter), but oh well. No time to reread the books again (football game tonight). I have this class with Lulu ([livejournal.com profile] violetmist2003)! Ah, first class we've had together since 8th grade! Awesome. I also have it with Emma and Galaxy, but Emma's switching to 4th period second semester. Still, we'll have her for one semester, which is good. Jonathan Bonilla is the aide for the period, so he'll be with us until quarter, I guess. Or maybe semester, I don't know. He says he hates our class, though, because we're all so quiet. Heh. Oh well.

6. Wind Ensemble - Mr. Austerman (Bentley when she's back from having her baby). Uh. No surprises here. Nothing to say.

In my Chemistry and Pre-Calc class, there are 3 Michelle's (including me)! guh. It's like freshman year all over again! Freshman year I had at least one more Michelle (three in my house classes: english, global, and science) in all my classes except for French. eck. Michelle is a very popular name at Uni.

So yeah, overall a good day. I also felt a lot less... lonely, I guess, than last year at this time. So, I don't know. I'm feeling a lot more optimistic about this year. Hopefully it'll be a good one.

The O.C. and Reunion are premiering tonight. I have to go to a football game from 5:30 to 10-ish, though, so I won't have a chance to watch them until Friday night. Oh well.

All right, I suppose I should attempt to finish my math homework now.

Heh, I'm usually pretty strong in math, so taking honors pre-calc isn't too big of a deal for me. At least, not yet. I'll see how it goes as the year goes on.

I'm going to watch them soon, so I'll be sure to post about them after I've seen them. :)
