The football game last night was pretty good. It was more fun for me than last year, and we performed the show all right. We have football games the next 3 or 4 weeks in a row. Maybe more, but that's all I saw. They're all on Thursdays, too, except for one in 2 weeks is on a Friday, and another Oct. 8 is on a Saturday. eck.

Euro's been pretty boring so far. I mean, it's only the second day, but eh. At least last year with AP US, I really liked the teacher, but... Mr. Ives isn't very entertaining. I don't know, we'll see.

In chemistry we did a lab, and I didn't hate it! Last year I'd always hate the labs. I don't know why. So when yesterday she told us we'd be doing a lab the next day, I was all "...fuck, I don't want to do that." But it ended up not being bad! So yay!

I'm not liking pre-calc very much, either. I don't know anyone very well besides Michele, and I don't like the teacher very much. I miss Mrs. Kurdziel. Emma's so lucky.

We had the quizzes on the summer reading books, and the one on How the Irish Saved Civilization was actually the easiest for me. Now I wish I had reread the other two, but it's too late to fix that. It also helped with Irish that there were a lot fewer characters to choose from with the same amount of quotes. Mrs. Moore told us our first essay is going to be on September 28 (we only ever write in-class essays because the school I go to is pretty competitive and they're always paranoid about cheating and so on, so we basically only have 50 min to write an essay where we don't even know the prompt beforehand. It sucks), which is the day Veronica Mars premieres. Now I can't look forward to that date, because I'll be all "Yes! Veronica Mars premiere! ...oh... wait... essay and unit test the same day. Ew." Yeah, I forgot to mention, we're having our unit test and essay on the block period that day. So, 45 min for essay and 45 for the test, or an hour for the essay and 30 for the test, or something like that. At least I'll have something to look forward to after it's over.

No marching band practice today! Originally we were going to have pictures this afternoon, but for some reason they had to move it to next Thursday. Mr. Austerman decided not to have practice, though, since he had already told us that we wouldn't be having practice because of the pictures. So, yay for that.

I realized I don't have Pranav in any of my classes this year. This is a very, very good thing.

Still haven't watched The O.C. or Reunion yet, but I will today, probably after I check up on my friendslist.
