We signed up for these seminar projects in Euro. My partner is Seher, and the topic we chose sets us as the very first presentation. eep. But it's good because it's first unit, and he said that anyone doing first unit would get 10 bonus points (out of a 100 point project), so we can get as low as like a 75 and still get a B on it. Though I'd like to do better than a 75. He also said he'd be available to help us with anything, so yeah. I also didn't fail the Euro quiz like I thought I did, I got a 13/15. So yeah, satisfied with that.

I was worried about the pre calc quiz, but it turned out to be really easy. I think I did pretty well on it.

I need block schedule. bah. Normally for us, on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, we have periods 1-6, we start at 7:30 and go till 2:38 (4:15 during marching season). Wednesdays and Thursday is block schedule. On Wednesday, we have periods 1, 3, and 5, start at 7:30, and go till 2:00 (3:45 during marching season). Between first and third period, we have Office Hours for like 45 min, which is a time where you can go to make up missed tests/labs/etc. Most people just use it to do homework, study for whatever test/quiz they have later in the day, or hang out with their friends. On Thursday, we have periods 2, 4, and 6, with office hours between 2nd and 4th, and we start at 8:30 and end at 3:00 (4:00 during marching season). And, yeah. It's really painful to have to go through an entire week of all 6 periods, but the first full week of school there isn't any office hours because supposedly they want to get the freshmen used to the school and classes before going all crazy and having different scheduling. Means that I get twice as much homework as I'd normally have to do on Tuesday and Wednesday night, though, which is very irritating. bah.

I left marching band 15 min early for a swallowing therapy session. I've progressed loads, and he said that I don't have to see him for another month. Then after a month, he'll see if I'm still doing the swallow, or if I've reverted back to the old one. So yay, hopefully this means I'll be able to get my braces off sometime in the next few months.

There's a dance tonight, yes? I totally forgot about it.

Yeah, I think I saw a flyer on some wall about it. I've only known about it for like a day or two. Did they announce anything about it? I don't think they did. Meh, I doubt I would go even if I had known farther in advance.

I think they did announce it, once or twice. It'll be lame with horrible music anyway. I'll be surprised when they actually play decent songs.

...ok, so I may not have been paying attention to announcements. But some people were talking about it at lunch, and most other people had no idea there was one tonight either. But yeah, they're really pointless. They play loads of bad music, and they're just not fun. At least in my experience from Rancho, I'd end up feeling really shitty at least once at every single one I went to. And now, I can't even be all excited when they finally play a song I like, because now I'll be like "Fuck, they're not allowed to play that song! They're my band!" because I'm possessive and selfish and irrational like that.

Rancho promotion dance was awesome, except Annie couldn't come :(. But it was fun.

Well yeah, that was cool. But that was because we were all "OMG WE'RE GOING TO HIGH SCHOOL AND LEAVING RANCHO YAAAY" and also because they played like more good songs than they ever did before, so it was fun to jump up and down to them.

OMG WE'RE GOING TO HIGH SCHOOL AND SO COOL, YAAAY.

Gosh, I should go back to Rancho's promotion dance just to see the little kids.

Haha, that would be so funny. I don't think they'd let you in, though.
