Ah, yes. The first two eps I enjoyed, but something felt kind of off about them. This, though, this is the Veronica Mars I know and love.

First off, Duncan/Logan fight! Man, I was so ready to be pissed off about them fighting over Veronica, and then Logan and Duncan both... ah! Logan being pissed that Duncan never supported him, and Duncan's anger over Logan's dad being Lilly's killer, and ah! Logan tearing up! Perfect, perfect scene. The whole idea of the love trianlge between the three I was kind of iffy on over the summer. Like, most shows just suck at dealing with it. So when they went to Logan and Duncan fighting, I was like "Oh, crap. This is exactly what I didn't want to see. Veronica's awesome, yes, but THEY SHOULDN'T BE FIGHTING OVER HER. SHE'S NOT THAT GREAT." But then! I can totally deal with Duncan and Logan fighting for those reasons (in addition to Veronica. Just as long as it's not all about Veronica. Then she'd start reminding me of Joey, and I would want to shoot her, which is not good).

Anyways. Yeah. So, that was probably my favorite part of the episode. It was a great episode, though.

Jackie was better in this episode. I actually don't think Veronica is that justified in being pissed off that Jackie went to dinner with that other guy. I mean, Jackie clearly didn't do anything to hide it from her, and she didn't seem to think it was wrong at all, which is telling to me that she didn't consider it cheating. And it wasn't, because she and Wallace aren't together. While it is a pretty shitty thing to do given that she probably knows that Wallace likes her and she was kissing him on the cheek and holding his hand and stuff, it wasn't as if they had been dating for a year and she was going out with other guys. It's not like she's doing what Kendall was doing. So while I don't think she's the best person in the world for kind of leading Wallace on, I don't think she's a terrible person either. And while I understand Veronica being all upset (and I'm sure Wallace won't be pleased), I don't really think Jackie's actions deserve it. Although it is completely in character for Veronica to be like that, and I don't blame her for it either, so eh. Ultimately I guess I like her responding that way. Just... I personally don't think Jackie's that horrible (for that reason, at least).

...did that last paragraph make any sense?

The Veronica/Logan scenes were just awesome. So much snark! So much tension! So much awesomeness! I don't know what else to say about them. I love watching them on screen together, even when they're fighting.

Keith/Alicia? What's going on?! I don't want Alica to have done something wrong! Keith deserves a good girlfriend, someone who won't steal $50,000 from him! I know that things on VM are never quite what they seem, but I'm still worried. Don't mess with the Keith/Alicia!

I still love Beaver. But poor, poor Beaver: he tries to protect his dad, and he ultimately ends up screwing him over. I thought that played out really well, too, because Beaver took off before Veronica had the chance to talk to him about his dad's business, and so he thought he was just protecting him from Kendall. Also, what was Kendall doing with the Montana guy? Was it part of Big Dick's real estate fraud, or was she trying to screw him over?

Dick's shirt that said "I have candy" (I think it was that. Maybe "I like candy"?) cracked me up for no reason. It's bizarre how much I'm liking Dick this season even though I know how much of an ass he's been in the past. He's just been really amusing.

Over the summer, I was wondering how they'd be able to top the Lilly Kane murder this season, but the overall season mystery so far has been really intriguing. It'll be interesting to see where it goes.

I think the thing I really liked about this episode was just the... mystery of the week. Not necessarily in plot terms (though I did really like it), but more because... it felt like it was the old Veronica, back to solving mysteries. In the first she wasn't planning on solving mysteries anymore, and in the second she was wary of it, but now she seems back into being a detective. It felt like it centered the show more to me, if that makes any sense.

I saw Mars Investigations in the previews for next week! I am very pleased. :D

Didn't watch Lost, because I tend to like Lost a lot less after watching Veronica Mars. I'll probably watch it tomorrow night.

The Duncan/Logan scene was probably my favorite of the episode too. I thought that fight was so stupid and I ageee, they shouldn't be fighting over Veronica. Then they justified it, I loved that.

The last two episode were kind of different in a way, but I loved them too of course. This was fantastic.

I did like the previous two episodes, but they did feel different. This felt like a return to form, and it was just fabulous. I really loved it.

I loved the episode too, a few too many VMVOs...but it wasn't that jarring and the rest of it was just so awesome to watch, I can't wait for next week...it totally looks like she's back at MI and that makes me very very happy. Also, she confronted Logan, which I've been waiting for for awhile...except now I don't think the bus thing is the big mystery...my brain's fuzzy and I'm confused lol, I'll have to think about this a lot...and Alicia might be evil...I thought the ending with Dick Sr. and Cassidy was excellent and I can't wait for next week...although I love the Dandy Warhols but I so could have done without that "Love Hurts" interlude...but maybe that's just me :P

I've seen a few people talk about the VMVOs, but I actually didn't notice them that much. And yeah, I saw that she's back at Mars Investigations next week, and that makes me very happy as well. The confrontation of Logan was totally awesome. I loved all their interaction in this episode.

I like the Dandy Warhols a lot too, but I didn't know that the guy singing was the lead singer of them until after I saw the episode, so during it, it was just kind of really random and sort of annoying. Even knowing who it was, I'd rather they hadn't put that part in there. Still, overall, I adored the episode.

I adore Logan and Duncan too. Which is why I'm a bit pissed at Veronica for leading Logan on. She was probably the only great remaining thing he had left, and she ends up with his best friend. I know Duncan deserves all the sympathy, but its not like his mom jumped of a bridge, not like his dad had an affair with his girlfriend that he killed...Logan got the worse deal, I think.

I do like that its more than a love triangle.

I do think that Logan needs someone like Veronica there for him, but I do understand Veronica's reasoning, and I don't blame her for wanting to break up with him.
