Besides taking the PSAT and volunteering at the animal shelter, I've been spending my weekend watching my Veronica Mars DVDs. Man does watching those last 5 episodes really make me want Veronica and Logan back together. I mean, I wasn't missing it as much so far, but after seeing how much I loved them at the end of season 1... sigh. I think I've decided that I actually like their interaction in Hot Dogs more than Weapons of Class Destruction. WoCD is great for V/L, but everything in HD just makes me squee a little more. I mean, their very first scene with Logan looking kind of giddy and grinning and you know he's trying to ask Veronica what she thought about the kiss but then she has to be all "What are you talking about?" and so he backs off, but it's still awesome. And then her helping him find out who Dylan is and him kind of grinning at her as she goes to work. And the entire "moving on" speech! Man, I went so obsessive over that entire scene. I had it completely memorized after like a day from rewatching it so much, and I'd rewrite lines of it randomly on my AP US notebook during lulls in the lecture. I don't know, WoCD makes me insanely giddy, but Hot Dogs just has something more for me.

Also, I think I've decided my favorite V/L kiss thus far is actually the one in A Trip to the Dentist right after Logan tells Veronica about drugging Duncan and says "I can't stand that I hurt you when all I want to do is protect you" and then she kisses him, and I don't know how to describe it, but there's such... passion and emotion in it. It's a different sort of kiss than any of their others, and I just adore it.

Yeah, so now I'm going on obsessive over V/L again and wanting them to get back together. Or at least start making out secretly in bathrooms again. They don't have to be officially together.

I think, though, my favorite scene of the series is the last scene between Veronica and Lianne in Leave it to Beaver. I mean, I don't know, I guess I can't really say that it's my absolute favorite scene because there are just so many good ones, but... geez, I just love that scene. I was looking forward to watching that scene again more than any other in the finale. It's just so perfect. I definitely tear up more during that scene than any other in the series (granted, it's hard to tell, seeing as from the moment Veronica is trying to run away from Aaron and screaming for help to the very end of the episode, I'm practically bawling.)

I love the dancing scene between Alicia and Keith during M.A.D. I don't know, just for some reason on the rewatch of the series, that scene was just... beautiful to me. I hope the writers don't fuck up Keith and Alicia's relationship this season.

I've found that I kind of really want either Veronica and Beaver or Veronica and Casey to get together this season. Not anything serious or long-term, but just for a few episodes. Particularly Veronica and Casey, I really want them to bring Casey back. Besides, I'd find it really unlikely for Veronica to just start switching between Duncan and Logan constantly; she'd have to date someone else at some point.

Also, they need to bring back Seth (the gay kid from M.A.D.). I really liked him. Although, maybe he was a senior? Then he'd be gone. Aw, that would suck.

Um, what else? Aaron talking about how faithful he is to his wife in An Echolls' Family Christmas is even more hilarious now than it was the 2nd time I saw it. Like, yeah, you were totally faithful to your wife and family when you slept with your son's girlfriend.

I love how well-put together Leave it to Beaver is, what with Lamb telling Aaron about kids hiding things in air vents, and then him putting that together with Lilly and the tapes, and then him going to the dinner/party to sneak into her room, and then him being there when Veronica goes to get the tapes but because Veronica made noise when she dropped the tray accidentally, he had time to hide, and he could've maybe gone after her except then Duncan comes in, and he hears everything they say and knows what they're going to say, and so he hides in her car beforehand, and yeah. It's just... it ties together so well, and you don't get the significance of all the little things until the second time you see them. Not that I didn't see that before (I have seen Leave it to Beaver at least 10 times now), but... I just really appreciate all that everytime I see it. Also, I find I like the finale a lot more when I don't have to be all "OMG WHAT HAPPENED TO LOGAN?! WHO'S AT THE DOOR?!" at the end.

On a shallow note, Duncan's eyes are really, really pretty during the scene where Veronica confronts Duncan about the rape in A Trip to the Dentist. I usually find Duncan attractive in a kind of... like... I don't know. Typical way? If that makes any sense? Like, I recognize that he's not bad-looking, but he just doesn't do anything for me? But in that scene... guh. Very pretty eyes. Well, he always has pretty eyes, but for some reason they just stood out to me in that scene. Yeah, I know, such an emotional scene, and all I can think about is how pretty Duncan's eyes are.

Lastly, I wanted to say that I love how in all the episodes, even if the mystery of the week isn't the most intriguing or if it feels just kind of like filler, there are still moments that make the episode great. Like, You Think You Know Someone is decent plot-wise, but I fell totally in love with it because of the Veronica/Keith scene where they're aruging about Lianne, and Veronica says "You can find anyone" and her voice breaks, and guh. It's just so sad. Just, in every episode there's something like that. Like, The Girl Next Door is pretty weak (in my opinion only, of course), but the Logan/Weevil interaction is just so good. The main plotline of Lord of the Bling pretty much bores me, but there's so much awesome Logan stuff in that episode that it makes up for it.

I really don't like the lack of Logan in the deleted scenes on the DVD. I mean, even Duncan has at least 2 scenes. But I comforted myself in my belief that all the scenes that Logan is in are just too good to cut out. ...it still would've been nice if there was something, though.

Edit: Two random things I forgot I wanted to mention:

First, Cheyenne/Debra Collins really looks like a man. I mean, when she's in the hotel room and has her back to the camera and is standing with her hands on her hips? Yeah. Totally looks man-ish.

Second, I find it highly amusing that Aaron chose to decorate the room with pink balloons for Logan's party. It just seriously cracks me up.

Ok, I think that's it.

This is mostly just about the season-long arc. I've been seeing a lot of people say "Well, the bus can't be the mystery because it's solved now! So what's the mystery going to be?" or like "I can't believe she solved the mystery already!" But I don't know, I don't see it being solved. I mean, just because Veronica believes the bus went off the cliff was Aaron's doing doesn't mean she's right. She believed loads of people were Lilly's killer before finding it was Aaron. And I can't believe that they would make Aaron the "big bad" for two seasons in a row. That just doesn't make sense to me.

I don't know, it could just be me, but I think it's a huge leap to decide that everything's solved already. I could be totally wrong here, but I don't know. I think she should at least wait until next week to see if the plotline is really over and they're going to make something else be the season-long mystery.

No school tomorrow (not sure why. I think it's an in-service day?), so my parents and I are going to take tours of Pitzer and Claremont. My college counselor said it'd be good to start visiting colleges, so yeah, that's what we're going to do. Hope it's not still raining tomorrow. I like the rain, but I don't particularly want to take a tour in it.

Guh. *adds to memories* Perfect VM gushing post- Logan = sex. And yeah, LoVe forever! And I really thought that Cheyenne was a man turned woman at first, haha. But that post just made me really happy, all of it.

I'm reallyreally sure that the mystery isn't solved- they just don't do things that quickly in Neptune.

Hee, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :D It was definitely loads of fun for me to gush about all of that.

I agree, it just doesn't make sense that it'd be all wrapped up so quickly.
