Dec. 25th, 2005 10:01 amlaskjfd!! I'm getting my own car!
So yeah, I'm going through my stocking and I see a box from Tiffany's and I thought it was just like earrings or something, so I open it and! There's a key ring with a set of keys (my own set of house keys, finally) and a card attached with a picture of a car! And the card said "Not this car, but a car, which we will look for during winter break!" eee! I'm so excited. :D I kept "hinting" (i.e. flat out asking) for a car but my parents kept saying no, so I was sure I wouldn't get one. She said it'll be like... a $10000 used car, but I don't care. Anything that runs is fine with me. So awesome!
Anyways, as if that wasn't enough, I also got a $100 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble, a bunch of free movie tickets, a mix CD from my mom with political songs, Jimmy Eat World's self-titled CD, a book of Weekly World News stories (looks really amusing - on the back there's some previews of stories, and one of them is about "Osama and Saddam's torrid love affair"), Karen Joy Fowler's The Jane Austen Book Club, Michael Segell's The Devil's Horn (book about the saxophone), Nick Hornby's A Long Way Down, DVD of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, DVD of Moulin Rouge, DVD of Nightmare Before Christmas, and the first two seasons of Dead Like Me.
Ah, I'm so excited. I love Christmas. And my parents really liked the presents I got them, so yay for that. :D
