lakj Arrested Development was so freaking good and it always is and I really hope that wasn't the last episode ever. Someone better pick it up.

I did end up renting Bridget Jones and Love Actually on Sunday and watched them both. I do think the first Bridget Jones is much better than the second, but I still really like the second. I think it helped for me that I saw the second first, so when the first was better I wasn't disappointed. Seeing them in the right order, I'd probably have been disappointed by the second. Also, there needs to be a movie solely consisting of Hugh Grant and Colin Firth fighting. That would be excellent.

I liked Love Actually a lot, too. I don't know if I would have liked it as much as if I wasn't so... invested, I guess, in some of the actors (Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightly to some extent), but I was, so I did really like it.

I read one of the books I got for Christmas today, The Jane Austen Book Club by Karen Joy Fowler. I really enjoyed it. But I think I need to read Jane Austen's other 4 books first before I'd really love it. It was very interesting, though, and I loved reading the parts about Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.

All Southern auditions on Saturday and I'm pretty screwed, but oh well. All I can do is practice every night until the audition and hope that everyone else sucks more than me.

Friending meme! Welcome to all my new friends! :)

The Bridget Joines thing is weird. The second book is much better than the first but somehow the second movie is really not as good as the first. It may be because of all the stuff in the book that literally couldn't be in the film. Oh well.

And good luck on the audition!

Really? That is weird. I haven't read the books yet, but I've been thinking about getting them. I think I will check them out sometime soon.

Thanks a bunch! :)

Thanks for the nice welcome! I'm a huge Jane Austen fan thus my extension Bridget Jones' fan. I've read all of her books and really like them all but Pride & Prejudice remains my favourite. I also liked Northanger Abbey, which is the one book I found varied from the others in style. Anyway, if you liked the Brudget Jones movies, I really recommend reading the books both are excellent. Goodluck with your auditions!

No problem! :) Ah, that's excellent. I've only read Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, but I really like both and I think I'm going to check out her other four books soon. I think I'm also going to try to get the Bridget Jones books soon, because I really did like both movies. Thank you! :)

I haven't seen the second Bridget Jones movie but I've read the book and loved it. I wasn't sure if I should see it but after your positive review I might just check it out.

Have you seen the first Bridget Jones movie? Because if you see the second one first, then I actually think you might like it more than if you saw it in the right order. I don't know, I have heard that a lot of people don't like it and I understand their reasons for it, but I like it anyways, just not as much as the first. Two of my friends I know though have seen them in the right order and still like the second well enough. So I don't know, it may just depend on you. I'd give it a try anyways, though, because you might just like it. And fight scenes between Hugh Grant and Colin Firth are always excellent (even if it wasn't as good as the fight scene in the first).

Yeah I've seen the first movie, in fact I own it, so you're bringing up a good point... But I might rent it just to see Hugh Grant and COlin Firth fight again. *g*
