Today Galaxy and Arjun came over and we worked on our Pride and Prejudice project for English. We got... some stuff done, I guess. But we're nowhere near done. sigh. This project sounded kind of cool in theory, but I'm really disliking it now. I kind of felt bad for Arjun because Galaxy and I are such good friends and have known each other for so long and we've barely spoken to him ever so it was kind of just us talking a bunch and him sitting there. Oh well. I'm looking forward to this project being over.


bleh. I don't understand why Paige couldn't have orbed the guns away. I mean, seriously. They clearly weren't going to shoot, and anyways, they just said they'd shoot if they moved. Billie was speaking and they didn't shoot at her. So Paige could've easily said "Guns" and they'd orb away and it'd all be fine. I know they had to keep them there so Billie could talk to them and make them change back, but guh. Couldn't they have made it more believable?

Also, Kaley Cuoco is a terrible actress and I'm so fucking sick of the storyline with her sister. I don't freaking CARE if she ever finds her sister.

Also, the part that bothered me the most, WHY DID BILLIE BELIEVE THE DEMON/HUMAN GUY WHEN HE SAID HE FOUND OUT HER PARENTS HAD BEEN SEARCHING FOR 15 YEARS FOR THEIR DAUGHTER?! WTF?! He's a fucking DEMON/HUMAN (and I don't freaking understand what he was. First it was all "You're a demon! But you don't have very strong powers! No, you're a human! But also a demon!" Like, hi, explain better, please? Because I don't understand it at all) AND KILLED A GUY AND IS CLEARLY COVERING FOR WHY HIS COUSIN WOULD BE KILLED. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU THINK HE WAS TELLING THE TRUTH?!? I just can't fucking understand why she'd take what he was saying at face value. I just assumed that he was LYING just like he was lying about why the hell anyone would kill him in the first place.

Also, WHY WAS PIPER THE ONE TO GIVE THE SPEECH AS THE GUY?! Paige fucking HAS THE POWER TO GLAMOR BECAUSE SHE'S A WHITELIGHTER. WHY WAS PIPER THE ONE TO DO IT?! IT'S LIKE GIVING PHOEBE USING A POTION TO FREEZE SOMEONE WHEN PIPER'S STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO HER, FULLY CAPABLE OF FREEZING WHATEVER IT IS. WTF.

Also, the only part I liked about this episode was Henry, because he's very good eye-candy and not a bad actor. AND THAT'S IT. UGH. Well, ok. Also. Phoebe's hair is looking really nice these days, and I liked her outfit at the beginning of the episode. And I always love Holly (though Piper was bothering me a bit, actually). BUT THAT WAS IT. NOTHING ELSE WAS GOOD ABOUT THIS EPISODE.

ugh. Why am I still watching this? Oh yes, I've already been through 7 years of this and I might as well stick it out to the end. Also, I love Holly Marie Combs. But gah the bad is seriously outweighing the good these days. I really want this show to just be cancelled already. It's gone on long enough and it's no longer even slightly good and there are other shows that deserve more seasons than Charmed does.


Bleh. School tomorrow. Not looking forward to it at all.

I can't stand Kaley Cuoco's character. Why the hell did they have to bring her in and ruin it anyway?! Plus all the screen time she gets! She's a terrible actress and it's a terrible character. I miss my old Charmed.

The 5th and 6th seasons were my favorite I think. I adore Holly Marie Combs. Piper is what's kept me watching this show when at times I got bored with it. I also loved Chris in season 6. Him and Piper are my two favorites. I hated it when he left. Season 7 was kind of struggling, what with the whole boring avatar plot and season 8 is getting even worse. In a way I'm hoping it doesn't go out like this. I keep waiting for them to save it and bring the show back to when it was good.

Have you also noticed the special effects being cut way down? Stupid WB slashed the show's budget so a lot of things that should happen or should be shown isn't, so they don't have to do the effects of the witch's powers. :(

I know, it's so irritating. I don't care at all about her character, and it doesn't help that the actress is terrible.

My favorites are the first 3 and then season 6 because I love the older Chris. I adore Holly Marie Combs as well, she's always just excellent. But even seasons 4 and 5 were loads better than this, and season 7 did have some moments that I wouldn't mind seeing again. But so far this season there really hasn't been any episodes I'd want to watch.

Yeah, I have noticed that the special effects have been pretty bad. And I hate that they barely use their powers anymore. It sucks.

I miss old!Charmed too. I've been so out of the loop for it, but I decided to catch an ep cos you were talking about it, and I wanted to see how it went...it's the one after they've stopped magic, but Paige wants to do it again.

So diffrent now!
