brokenrecordSo I ended up watching the extras on my Arrested Development Season 2 DVDs since I never got around to seeing them, and ugh. So good. And the cast is all just so happy to be working together! They're all such good friends and alkdfj makes me so upset that they have to split up once it's cancelled. I really hope ABC/Showtime picks it up. I love this show so freaking much.

In alphabetical order, since I can't choose who's my favorite actor. They're all so good.
1. Jason Bateman
It's so hard to not choose everyone from the stellar cast of Arrested Development, but I had to choose him. (And this is more my favorite actors than who I think are the absolute best actors, and, yeah. I didn't want to have to think about it too much, so I just went with my first instinct. But they're all amazing) Anyways. Jason Bateman is just amazing. He has to play the straight man in a family full of nutjobs, and he just does it so well. And all his little expressions and reactions and deliveries are just always spot-on, it's amazing.
2. Kristen Bell
Guh. She is just amazing. She can easily bring me to tears, she's just so good at evoking emotion from you. Veronica is such a complicated person and there are so many things going on in the show at once, yet she's able to show everything Veronica is feeling. I don't even know how to describe what I think of her. She's just too good.
3. Holly Marie Combs
The only reason I'm still watching Charmed is because of Holly. She's just brilliant. My favorite episodes of Charmed are all my favorites because of her (All Hell Breaks Loose [well, okay, that's one of the show's few all-around amazing eps], Hell Hath No Fury, Love Hurts, Brain Drain, etc.). Holly Marie Combs is another actress who can easily bring me to tears. And I hate that her talent is wasted on Charmed, because she deserves to be on a better show where she can show how awesome she is.
4. Jason Dohring
Logan is an extremely complicated, fucked up character, and any lesser actor playing him wouldn't be able to make you love him despite how screwed up he is. And I know that not everybody loves Logan, but far more do than you would think for such a fucked up character. Even when he's playing the jackass, he's always able to bring this other level to it. I don't know, he's just so good. Ugh, I suck at commenting, and I don't know why I bother, but honestly. I never thought I'd love Logan as much as I do, and I doubt I would if it weren't for Jason Dohring.
5. Colin Firth
Colin Firth! Man, I love him. (Obviously) His acting is just so subtle, but oh, it's excellent. He can play these snotty, arrogant characters and still make you fall in love with them. And he's just so freaking charming. ugh. He can express so much with just a simple look, it's amazing.
6. Gale Harold
So good. I don't know what to say about him. I really don't. He plays this character who's supposed to not care, who pretends that he doesn't give a shit about anyone or anything, yet he allows little bits to... go through this wall he's built around himself, showing that he actually does care. I can't put it into words very well (I think it's pretty clear from this post why I'm struggling in English), but man. He's just amazing.
7. Joshua Jackson
Only reason I watched Dawson's Creek. Well, ok, for the Pacey/Joey, but then Joey became insufferable, so then it was for the Joshua Jackson. And he's just amazing. He was given so little on that show, and did so much with it. He easily stole the show away from Dawson. I don't know what to say about him, either. He's so excellent.
8. Hugh Laurie
I love Hugh Laurie. His delivery for all House's snark is just always so dead-on. But he's able to do the moments where House loses his sarcasm so well, too. That one episode, what was it? I'm blanking on the title, but in the first season, where he stops taking Vicodin on a bet from Wilson, or something? ugh. So. Good. That episode is just amazing, and Hugh is so great in it.
9. Ewan McGregor
Man, I didn't get the Ewan love when I hadn't seen him in anything, but then I saw Moulin Rouge, and then it all became very clear. He's just... asl;kjd amazing. He can sing! But that's not the only reason he's on here. In Moulin Rouge, he's just so earnest and hopeful and you know it can't end well, but you can't help falling in love with him and wanting him to be able to be with Satine and end up happily, and he makes you think that maybe it's possible, and then it's not. And he's just, I don't know. Oh god, the end, when she dies, and he's a;lksjfd ugh. Man. I can't describe it. Just so good. And I mean, this is not the only thing I've seen him in, I loved him in Big Fish and Trainspotting as well, but this was the first thing I saw him in, and I just fell in love with him. He's just so freaking good.
10. Emily Van Camp
She's amazing. She really is. Amy can be a bitch at times, but Emily is just always so good, and has been since the Pilot. And she's so young! Well, ok, she's not that young, but she's actually rather close to her character's age, which is bizarre in television. But she's so amazing. I don't really know what to say about her, why I love her so much, but I do. She's wonderful.

Ah, that's it! Detox! Yeah, I love that episode, and Hugh Laurie truly is amazing.
