heh. At the corner of the street below my house, there's been this bright yellow X-Terra parked in front of one of the houses for like a couple weeks now. If you watch Veronica Mars, you know why this might amuse me.

Anyways. Last night was the band banquet. A couple parts were good, such as the slideshow presentation thing and Galaxy and Deena both telling the stories of how Zi asked them out. Most of it was pretty bleh, though. Even the senior speeches were kind of bad (although some were good. I liked Elizabeth's, and I think one or two others). And it sucks, too, because they were supposed to read off paragraphs they had wrote earlier but instead several of them just completely started saying whatever they wanted which was exactly what Mrs. Bentley didn't want and so they totally screwed us over for next year and now next year's seniors aren't allowed to write our own speeches and give them, we have to make this stupid video that they did last year which I hate because they can totally cut out things you really want to say and it's just really irritating because it's not our fault that they didn't pay attention. She should just cut out the microphone to anyone who starts not following their speech. ugh.

Was going to watch movies at Richards afterwards, but then it turned out it would be Galaxy&Richard, Elizabeth&Brian, and me. Which, no. Not fun being the fifth wheel. And some of us were all "Well if such-and-such goes, then I'll go" but in the end most people decided not to go. And after awhile watching movies sounded not appealing, and the only other thing they suggested we do is play DDR, and I didn't feel like that either. So I just went home instead.

Anyways, since all the TV shows I was watching this year have had their season/series finales, I figured I'd write a little bit about each show I watched this year's entire season.
Spoilers for most recent season if each of these shows, so be warned.

Arrested Development: Oh, AD. How I will miss you. I loved the entire season, even the episodes with Charlize Theron (which I know some people hated). And the last like... 6 episodes? Oh, god. There are no words for how hilarious they were. And even if it had to end, then at least they ended the season brilliantly. I see people say a lot "Better go out on a high note than drag the show on for years and years until it sucks beyond belief and you can barely recognize it anymore" which, I don't know if I necessarily agree with, but it is kind of nice to have 3 just absolutely perfect seasons of such a hilarious show.

Charmed: You know, this season overall sucked, and I was happy when it was cancelled, and this show should've been cancelled years ago, but I was still a little sad after watching the finale. I mean, you have no idea what this show meant to me. It was the first kind of... non-Disney/Nickelodeon show I started watching (well, Buffy I watched for the first time in season 2 when I was in 3rd grade, but I only watched 2 episodes that season, and didn't really start watching it until mid to late 6th grade). I started watching it the summer before season 3 (so summer before 6th grade), and it opened me up to the WB where I found other shows I started to like. It introduced me to fandom on the internet, which introduced me to graphics-making and learning HTML to make a shitty geocities fansite. I mean, even though it's sucked for years, it really meant something to me once. The finale was... good, I think. I'm sure there were plenty of holes in the time travel stuff, but I'm not even bothering to think about it because it'll just end up making my head hurt. Seeing Chris and Wyatt all grown up again was awesome. I'm sad Billie didn't die, but at least Christy did. Overall, this season sucked, but it did have its moments.

Everwood: Man, I'm sad that this show is gone. Overall it was a really awesome season. And the finale kicked all kinds of ass, even with the Andy/Nina ending. I just really don't know what to say about it. I'm really upset that there will never be anymore new Everwood episodes, and I can only hope that they change their mind and agree to put out seasons 2-4 on DVD.

Gilmore Girls: This season was just... disappointing. The finale of season 4, with Luke and Lorelai getting together, was just... amazing. I had waited for it so long, and then it finally happened. Season 5, with their relationship, was kind of a let-down. But their break-up served a good purpose, I thought, and by the end of season 5, I thought we were back on track, especially with the proposal. But now? geez. Way to make the Luke you thought you knew and loved into a complete asshole. The April storyline came out of nowhere, and there was absolutely no point where I enjoyed it. And the finale was just... terrible. I absolutely loved Christopher in season 1, and even in season 2 when they were together briefly in the finale, I still enjoyed them together. But by now? I'm sick of it. And the ending of that finale just made me sick. And Rory! My god! This has been happening since season 4, and maybe before then eve, but god, I just hate her now. The beginning of this season, she was just terrible. And even when she finally went back to Yale, she still continued to piss me off. I loved her character in season 1 so much, but I can barely recognize her these days. She's just not the same girl, and I hate it. This entire season has just been a complete let-down, and I really hope they're able to fix things next season, but I seriously doubt it.

House: The finale was awesome, but overall, I just don't... care very much about this show. I mean, House (the character) is fascinating, and I love House and Wilson together, and Chase is so pretty, and his voice is so gorgeous, but I mean. Most of the time, I just don't really care about the show. I don't know. I mean, I don't have the urge to stop watching it, and I think it's good, but... I just feel kind of indifferent towards it.

Lost: blah. The season was kind of crap. I mean, I don't know. Maybe it wasn't terrible, but I just had very little interest in it. But then the finale ended up being awesome, and now I can't help but watch season 3. Damn you, Lost! I don't even know really what I didn't like about this season. It just kind of bored me. Part of it was, I think, though, that the only people on the island seemed to be Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Locke, and Ana Lucia. Occasionally they'd focus on someone else, but they'd only get one episode, and then they'd kind of disappear for the rest of the season. Last season it seemed a lot more spread out, but maybe that's just me. Oh well. Here's to hoping season 3 is way better.

The O.C.: You know, this season wasn't that bad. I mean, it was nowhere near season 1 quality, but I was a lot more interested than I was last season. Yeah, it had Johnny, but season 1 had Oliver, who I hated much more (though left the show much sooner). The most disappointing thing really was the finale, and noe because I thought it sucked, but because I really, loved it. And not even only because Marissa died. Even just leading up to that, I was really enjoying it. And it's just so disappointing, because the show can be so good when it tries to be. Season 1 was excellent, and there have been a few scattered amazing episodes since then. But they just haven't been trying as hard, and it pisses me off, because I know it can be so much better than this. sigh. Oh well. Overall, a decent season.

Prison Break: Overall, I'm glad I decided to watch this show. Sure, there are plot holes, and it's obvious that they only meant for the first season to go 13 episodes and then they'd break out, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Plus, Wentworth Miller is soooo pretty. And I really grew to love the Michael/Sara relationship (AH SHE CAN'T BE DEAD!). The finale disappointed me a bit, just because I'm tired of cliffhangers (every freaking episode is a cliffhanger!), and I wanted them to fly out of Illinois, but I still really loved the season as a whole, and I'm looking forward to next year.

Supernatural: It's kind of funny how much I ended up loving this show. I decided to watch it I guess... on a whim? I mean, supernatural type things + pretty boys? No brainer, really. And it started out just kind of "Well, the writing's not the best I've seen, and it's not amazing or anything, but it's interesting and keeps me entertained" and then it just... grew from there. It got better and better every week, delved deeper into each of the brother's character, and then all of a sudden it was the finale and my mind was being completely blown. Can't wait to see what happens next season.

Veronica Mars: You know, I really didn't hate the beginning of the second season as much as a lot of people did. It didn't go quite as I had hoped, but I knew that it would have to be different from the first season, and, you know, it was still miles better than most of the other crap on TV. So up until Donut Run, while I wasn't watching episodes 5 times a week and counting the seconds until the next new episode, I was still thoroughly enjoying it. But, oh man. The second half. From Aint No Mountain High Enough on, it was just... awesome. (I'd include Rashard and Wallace go to White Castle in the second half of the season, but I honestly can't remember most of what happens in that episode, other than the basic plotline.) And the thing is, now that we know who the killer is and know how everything fits together, I think I'm going to like the first half of the season even more. And seriously, that finale. Man. That finale destroyed my brain's ability to think properly for, like, a week. All I could think about was that episode. I mean, overall, yeah. I think I liked season 1 more. But season 2? Didn't suck. Bring on Season 3! :D

Heh, well I haven't actually seen anyone driving it, it's just been sitting there. But I think I'll just pretend it is Logan's and that he lives practically next door to me.
