Oct. 28th, 2008 01:18 pmSo apparently The Ex List has been canceled. I guess I haven't mentioned it at all, but I've been watching it, and I think it's really cute. I feel like it's the type of show I could get really into if it went on for several seasons. And I was really looking forward to her having a boyfriend for more than one episode (like I think where they were going to go with the guy with the cat that she hasn't met up with yet). And I really loved the guy from the last episode, and I loved that they kept that open so he could come back. But... obviously not going to happen now. I mean, it's not brilliant, but I like it. Although it was hard to see where they would go with it after the first season since she's supposed to find the guy within the year, right? But still. It could have at least lasted the whole season.
So now there are only two new shows I'm still watching this season (since I dropped Fringe a few weeks ago): 90210 and Privileged. 90210 I'm somewhat ashamed I like and I'm not even sure why I do because I don't like basically the majority of the characters. But I kind of really like Ethan, and even though I hate Annie, I like them together. So, whatever. Privileged is really adorable and I want it to go on forever because, kind of like with The Ex List, I can see myself getting really hooked down the line. But I'm really doubtful to it lasting even the whole season, let alone past this season. This season has been pretty crappy for new shows, though. I'm guessing that's mostly due to the strike, though.
Anyways, I have two tests tomorrow, which totally sucks. Originally I was supposed to have both tests on Monday. Then my Developmental Psych professor was like "Well we're a little behind and I have to go to a conference on Friday, so the test will be pushed back to Wednesday" and I was like "Oh good! Now I won't have two tests on the same day because I will fail at studying for both at once!" ...and then, of course, my RIP professor's son broke his leg on Thursday and so he canceled class on Friday and said he didn't want to have a test without having a review day, so the test would be pushed back to Wednesday. bah. Of course, if I were smart, I would have studied for one on Saturday/Sunday and the other Monday/Tuesday, but, well, that would just make too much sense. Instead I left both for Monday and today. I'm actually further ahead studying for the Developmental Psych test than I was last time, and I did incredibly well last time, so... hopefully it'll be ok. And I've started studying for RIP I and I know this information loads better than I thought I did, and I'm pretty confident I would do decently on this test even without studying. So hopefully that'll be ok.
But yeah, I really should have gotten stuff done on Saturday and Sunday. But instead of studying on Sunday I watched C'est une question d'amour and oh man that is such a lovely movie. But one of the lead guys looked exactly like Jon Walker. Seriously, it was kind of weirding me out. I might post comparison pics to make sure that I'm not totally crazy because seriously, they are like twins. Except the movie was made in 2000 when Jon Walker was like... what, 15, 16? Younger, even? And this guy was definitely in his 20s, so yeah.
Ok this was mostly just an excuse to procrastinate studying a little longer, but I really should get back to that.
