meep. Today was my mom's birthday, but I didn't even realize it until the middle of SAT class. It's not that I forgot that July 6th is her birthday, it's just that in summer, I don't really have much of a need to know what day it is. I know what day of the week it is (um. Most of the time.) and... that's enough. I mean, it's easy enough to remember my dad's because it's in November, but my mom's is more difficult. Um. But, happy birthday to her anyways, even though... she won't be reading this. At least, I hope not. She's turning 56, which seems very old to me, especially since I'm only 16. And because she only looks, like, 40, so none of my friends actually believe she's that old. Uh. Yeah.

My mom is about 58 and since she doesn't have many wrinkles people find it hard to believe she's over 50. I'm hoping my father's genes didn't ruin my chances of aging well lol.

Heh, yeah. I think most of it is that she doesn't let her hair go gray, she continues to dye it its natural color, so she still looks pretty young. And plus, she had me when she was 39 which is pretty old, so most people think she's younger because I'm so young in comparison.
