Barney's thing about Jesus and waiting 3 days had me giggling ridiculous amounts. I especially enjoyed how he kept looking over at Robin. I don't know if it was intentional, but it totally seemed to me like he kept going on to entertain Robin (because she is awesome and was totally cracking up too).

I enjoy Barney and Marshall hanging out! I feel like they don't do it enough, but I really like their dynamic. I'm glad they decided to make Marshall start working at Barney's because they've kind of been bonding more since then. Also, "I think we're about to have sex with Ted." HA. I was cracking up over that line forever.

Also, AWESOME THAT BARNEY AND MARSHALL FOUGHT OVER TED HAVING GAY DREAMS FOR ONE OF THEM. HEE. I was thinking it was going to be another "Well, you're his best friend" thing from one of the earlier episodes (I can't remember which one now), but it was so much more awesome this way.

Also, I really really enjoyed that Robin and Barney were sitting together throughout the entire episode! I mean, it was one thing when Marshall said that he and Lily chose to sit on one side of the booth just so they'd have to sit next to each other, but it's a totally different thing when Marshall is on one side and there's NO ONE NEXT TO HIM and Robin sits next to Barney. MORE THAN ONCE. I choose to take this as her subconsciously being totally into him.

This was pretty much just a filler episode, but it was an enjoyable one. Plus, we did get a tiny little hint at the end about the mother, so that was cool.

L;KAJSDF HOW HE SAID "Hello, Neighbor!" TO PENNY! <3333 OH MAN. I know he was just supposed to be in a good mood, but it was kind of flirty!

"So how was your day?" SO DOMESTIC. HOW ARE THEY SO SURPRISED WHEN THEY'RE ASKED ABOUT SHELDON/PENNY WITH EPISODES LIKE THESE? SERIOUSLY. (Ok I know he was just conforming to social expectations and all that, but IT WAS SO CUTE THE FIRST TIME HE SAID IT.)

I loved Sheldon's rhyme thing about the tall man, and him stretching out on the couch! AND SHELDON WAS HOMESICK. SO SWEET. I love Sheldon. AND "Homesick is a type of being sick." AND SHE SAYS "Soft kitty is only for when you're sick." LIKE HE'S BEEN SICK AGAIN SINCE THE LAST TIME SHE TOOK CARE OF HIM AND SHE'S DONE IT AGAIN. I'm going to choose to believe that everytime since that time whenever he gets sick, he insists that she takes care of him.

AND THE "Thank you for letting me stay here, Penny." That was so sweet and genuine! Awwww Sheldon.

Non-Sheldon/Penny Stuff: Usually Howard bothers me, but I actually enjoyed him here. The way he said "Of course I developed feelings for her, I saw her naked!" made me laugh and then go "Awww" for him simultaneously.

laks;jfd !!! I can't properly react to this episode! It's just going to be a lot of flailing and exclamations and capslock, so beware! Ok, first the Chuck/Sarah stuff:

The beginning where Chuck invites Sarah on vacation with him and she tells him and then he just shuts down and is like "Thanks for being a bridesmaid. Good for the cover," absolutely killed me. CHUCK. DO YOU NOT REMEMBER THE LAST EPISODE AT ALL? SARAH TOTALLY LOVES YOU. Seriously, I mean, if it was just for the cover, Sarah would not stick around to help Chuck throw Ellie a second wedding.

And she turns down working with Bryce again for Chuck! And aw, she asks him to dance! This is like what I was flailing over last week, how she is being so much more open about her feelings!

But it's ok because CHUCK LOVES HER. I mean, obvious, but hearing him say it! AND SARAH WAS TOTALLY ABOUT TO SAY "I want you" (or something to that effect)! sdlfjk stupid always getting interrupted! I wished there had been more with them at the end of the episode, but I guess things got kind of crazy there. But next season (WHICH THERE BETTER BE) there better be an actual relationship between the two of them! We are done with dancing around each other and not being entirely sure how the other feels and suppressing feelings and all that! I mean, I loved that this season and last season, but it needs to progress now. My ideal situation next season would be them talking and being open about their feelings and then deciding to try having a real relationship, but keeping it a secret from the General (and maybe Casey initially?). So they'd end up having a secret real relationship under their cover relationship (I mostly want this because I totally have a kink for secret relationships! There are not enough of them on TV, in my opinion!). But I digress!

More on this episode! Non-Chuck/Sarah things:

CHUCK WILLINGLY DOWNLOADS THE INTERSECT!!! I love that he's accepting being a spy and hero and all that because he totally is. L;AKJSDF AND OMG HE CAN FIGHT NOW. CHUCK'S GOING TO BE A REAL SPY.

ALSO, CHUCK'S DAD HAS AN INTERSECT IN HIS HEAD. It makes sense and seems obvious in retrospect, but IT WAS TOTALLY SHOCKING TO ME. Is he sticking around for next season (which there will be!)? I mean, there was no end "Well, it was nice seeing you guys again, but I need to go disappear mysteriously for everyone's safety!" or whatever. I guess I was just assuming he'd leave because he's a pretty major guest star and those usually don't last very long, but I guess I don't know that he has other movies/shows lined up, so maybe he'll stay? It would be kind of cool to have him around for awhile.

OMG WTF BRYCE. WAS NOT EXPECTING HIM TO SHOW UP. I DON'T KNOW WHY, BUT... HE WAS JUST THERE! VERY SUDDENLY! I feel like I should have expected it, but I totally didn't. AND HOLY FUCK BRYCE IS DEAD. JUST. OMG. I actually started tearing up when he died! I didn't realize that I cared that much about him! I want to hate Bryce, but I don't! He's so kickass. Seeing him smile and take out all those guys when he was alone was awesome. And I love that he actually knew about Chuck's father because it was too big of a coincidence if he didn't know.

I loved the resolution with Roark! I expected the normal Big Bad type thing where Chuck/Casey/Sarah would take him down in the final 5 minutes of the episode. BUT IT'S LIKE HALF-WAY THROUGH AND IT'S NOT EVEN ONE OF THEM! IT'S A TOTALLY DIFFERENT EVIL! (I think!) I'm still confused about all that! So this is a different organization from Fulcrum? Did Bryce say something about the Ring? I'M SO CONFUSED. I NEED MORE INFORMATION. (But yeah, anyways, that was awesome.)

I LOVE CHUCK AND CASEY WALKING IN TOGETHER AT THE BEGINNING. I DON'T KNOW WHY. IT WAS JUST AWESOME. They were so like... equals! AND THEM BOTH QUITTING TOGETHER! AND THE HANDSHAKE/HUG! AND CASEY SAYING "You've done good work here." AND!!! HE GAVE HIM HIS PHONE NUMBER!!! <3 I adore the friendship between the two of them!

And I don't even know what to say about Casey showing up to save them at the wedding and jumping through the glass with his men and shooting everyone other than A;LSKDJF;LAKJSDF. And Casey helping to plan the second wedding!

I felt so bad for Ellie about her wedding. She always gets screwed over by the spy stuff but doesn't have the benefit Chuck does about knowing about it. But I love how Chuck saved the day.

Just, I don't even know! I heard that Josh Schwartz said that this episode would be a game-changer and that if the show wasn't renewed for another season, everyone would be really pissed off about where they left things, and he was definitely right! At the very least, I need better Chuck/Sarah closure! And whatever, even with that, I'd still want many more seasons of Chuck, Sarah, and Casey being an awesome spy-team together. a;lksfj I'm going to be so nervous until May 5th. Please be renewed!

I may or may not have more coherent thoughts about the episode in a few days after I've stopped flailing and squeeing about everything. If not in a few days, then possibly after I do a complete series rewatch (which I'm planning on doing the second I come home).

Ugh, I'm so exhausted. This is what I get for staying up past midnight when I have to wake up at 7 AM for class after already getting too little sleep the night before. Why am I taking another 8 AM class next semester? Clearly I am crazy. In any case, I don't have much left to do this week, which is nice. I have a project for Differential Equations on Thursday, but I'm not too worried about that right now (although maybe I should be). And after Thursday morning, I can relax a little (until Saturday when I start having to freak out about everything I have to do for next week).

What confused me was that Friday to Sunday is only... two days. So there is a flaw in their logic, haha.

Barney and Marshall were the BEST part of this episode. I almost died during that montage of them snuggling and stuff.<3

Yeah, I heard that it's typically referred to as 3 days because way back when they started counting things at 1, so Friday was 1, Saturday was 2, and Sunday was 3. But that doesn't work when you apply it to this 3 day rule. But I'm ignoring that flaw because it was hilarious. I mean, there were plenty of other flaws, too, like the idea that everyone would be at church on a Sunday morning the weekend that Jesus was resurrected, and that all just makes it even more hilarious to me.

They were! When they started that montage I was like "So are they going to switch off?" but then they BOTH were in cheerleader uniforms and in bed and all that, and it was amazing.

"I think we're about to have sex with Ted." HA. I was cracking up over that line forever.

Also, AWESOME THAT BARNEY AND MARSHALL FOUGHT OVER TED HAVING GAY DREAMS FOR ONE OF THEM. HEE.

Oh man. This part was hilarious.
& this is the reason I adore this show.
TOO FUNNY <3

I know! It was so hilarious! Filler episodes on most shows bother me, but this episode was so funny! I love HIMYM so much.

I am so excited about Chuck!!! Even more about the idea of S3 (which must happen).

The thing Bryce said about The Ring, was that Fulcrum was just a part of it (CIA infiltrate perhaps?). I'm thinking it's similar to Alias, and how SD-6 was just part of the larger Alliance. Hee! *happy dance*

I know! I keep having all these thoughts about stuff I'm predicting/hoping to happen next season, but I had to stop myself from talking about it all because I'm afraid I'll jinx it getting renewed. (Even though I know that logically whether I talk about it or not has no affect on it being renewed.) Oh man, there better be a season 3 because it's going to be awesome.

I have no idea! I don't know if I wasn't paying attention well enough or I just missed it, but that confused me. It sounded like The Ring was not the same thing of Fulcrum? Or was Fulcrum just a small part of The Ring? There needs to be another season so this can be clarified, because I am so confused still!

I think there will be more clarification about The Ring in S3. Until then, this is what we know so far.

When Chuck said they'd need the intersect to fight Fulcrum, Bryce's actual quote is; "Fulcrum doesn't matter, they're just one part of The Ring."

Then in an interview with EP Chris Fedak -
What can you tell me about the Ring? Is that, in fact, its name?

I think it goes by many names. It's cryptically known as the Ring. If you think about Fulcrum as a subsidiary, a franchise of the Ring, that it's a larger organization.

So what is it that introducing the Ring does for the show that Fulcrum wasn't. Why did you feel the need to introduce a larger evil organization?

(Long pause) I'll say this: the Ring has different goals than Fulcrum.

But wasn't Fulcrum already pretty vague in its goals? One of the advantages and disadvantages of Fulcrum is that we didn't really know what they were about, so you could do anything with them.

Thinking about season three, it was important that the Ring have a very specific goal. And that plays out in season three.

Should be interesting.

Ah, thanks for that. I think my confusion comes in because I swore somebody asked that guy in The Ring if he was Fulcrum, and then he said "No" and I also thought he said something about there being bigger than Fulcrum or something? I don't remember, really. But anyways, I think I took it to mean that it was separate, but I guess if he did say what I'm remembering, it fits in to The Ring being a bigger organization and Fulcrum being a smaller part of it. I'm sure they will explain everything in season 3, which is why there better be a season 3! I'm definitely looking forward to having a different evil group around, especially if it has different goals.

CHUCK MUST BE HERE NEXT YEAR! I DEMAND IT! IT IS TOO AWESOME NOT TO BE!

CHUCK WILL KUNG FU KICK NBC IF HE IS NOT AROUND!

I don't know if it was intentional, but it totally seemed to me like he kept going on to entertain Robin
It's totally intentional! I feel like Neil/Cobie are totally playing it that way on both ends. She always laughs harder at everything Barney does than anyone else does. Sometimes he'll be rambling on about the bro-code or something else ridiculous and so very Barney and Marshall/Lily/Ted will be rolling their eyes...but you can see Robin smiling.

UGH I KNOW! IT IS SERIOUSLY ONE OF THE BEST TV SHOWS ON AIR RIGHT NOW, AND THERE ARE SO MANY MORE STORYLINES LEFT TO GO INTO! PLUS I NEED MORE CHUCK/SARAH RESOLUTION.

Ah ok, good, it wasn't just me! I feel like I view everything through shipper glasses so I might be making stuff up that isn't actually there. But yeah, I'm just hoping that was intentional because we pretty much haven't seen anything from Robin about how she feels about Barney, and I want to hear/see more about what she's feeling!
