brokenrecordThey didn't have the results of the SAT diagnostic test at class today, but they e-mail the score reports to us when they're done (in addition to printing them out and giving them to us at class) and I just checked now and they finally finished. And oh my god. I got a 740 writing. [in shock] Heh, I wish this really counted for something. But yeah, I did just as well in grammar as I did the first test (72), and I did just as well on the essay as I did on the second test (12 - perfect score, yay! I'm so getting the hang of writing the essays). I'm so proud. I also got a 690 math, which is my highest math score yet. I've been bumping up my score in math 10 points each test. Awesome. In reading I got a 680, and while that's 10 below the first test, it's 40 above the second, so I'm really just happy that I didn't lower my score by another 40 points. Overall, that's a... 2110. Oh my god, I broke the 2100 mark! Why couldn't this have been a real test?
I downloaded the pilot of Dead Like Me like a month ago but never got around to watching it. I finally did this morning and I totally fell in love with it. I want more now. I'm downloading torrents of both seasons, but they're taking forever and probably won't be done until tomorrow or even Thursday. Oh well.

Your birds, on the other hand, look ADORABLE. I LOVE their coloring. So pretty. And wow, you have a lot. How do you stand all the noise?? Charlie talks like a maniac, and there's only one of him--I can't imagine 4! Wow!

Thank you! It isn't easy to stand the noise. It's all right most of the time, though, because they're really only loud when they're in their cages, and their cages are on the other side of the house. When I take them out in my room, they don't scream too much. Derek's the only one that can really talk, and he only does that occasionally. The only time they bother me is when I'm trying to watch TV and they're in their cages. Then they get pissed that I'm in the room but I haven't taken them out so they start screaming at me, and then I can't hear whatever I'm watching.

omggg adorable birds, makes me miss having birds! we used to have 2 cockatiels several years ago, they were hilarious to watch, they'd have sex in their food bowl, lmao! birdies are so cute damnit!

Especially since a few weeks ago, I bought 2 DVDs at Barnes and Noble when they were having a "buy 2 get one free" sale and I was able to get a free DVD, and I considered getting the DVD of the first season, but didn't want to get it in case I didn't like it. Really wish I had, though, as I totally love it. Oh well.
Fall Out Boy's awesome. :D A year and a half ago I was looking through CDs at FYE randomly, found their CD Take This To Your Grave, listened to it, liked it, and bought it. I've loved them ever since. Their new CD is even better than their previous one. They're great.
Thank you! I love having birds, even though they can get annoying at times. And hee, that sounds amusing. My birds don't do anything quite like that. Birds are definitely adorable.

Date: 2005-07-27 06:42 pm (UTC)Aw, that sucks. :( I'm lucky enough to be able to be on for at least 12 hours a day, if not longer, so that helps. Still, I was downloading both season 1 and 2 yesterday for about 12 hours, and I'm only at 21% and 24%. =/

It is. Wheee, that was fun. There's a random X in the middle of it now for some reason. Possibly marking where we should lie down next time we choose to lie down in the middle of the street randomly.
...but probably not.Piper preens Caitlin a lot, and it's really sweet when it's gentle, but most of the time she ends up attacking Caitlin's head and pulling out her feathers. Piper's not exactly a gentle bird. She was gentle when I took the picture, though, which is good.
